Pegazus
Took off of work two hours early. What did I do with those free hours? Why, sleep in a hammock of course! Outside was the perfect combination of warm enough and a little chill. Slept hard, too.
Kuroneko
There might be some hope for humanity after all - this security guard was spotted in Giffnock holding an umbrella over a dog outside his work. His reasoning? "Some dogs don't like the rain" 14
NebulousMissy
I may have hit the stretched-ear feedback loop. I had 6g ears. I had nice stone plugs I put into these 6g ears. Last month I found the plugs slipping out on their own, my ears had stretched to 4g on their own simply due to the weight of the 6g stone plugs. So I put in these plastic 4g plugs I had as part of a set. But I'm going back to work in a couple of weeks, I can't wear junky plastic plugs. I've just bought nice new stone plugs for my now 4g ears. They'll be delivered next week. I figure eventually I'll hit 2g simply due to the weight of these stone plugs and then I'll get new ones and then...
Mad Jack
I bailed out of work three hours early, but didn't have time for a nap. Instead, I organized some of my miniatures - there are thirty-nine figures in Ral Partha's AD&D Personalities line (all the individual figure blisters from both the Forgotten realms and Dragonlance), and forty spaces in the Chessex plastic box I picked up two weeks ago... Now for the other 1700 of them, lol. Edited July 1, 2020 by Mad Jack

If was soooo good!! I think the last time we were there was probably in March or so. Plus with her having Mondays off & yesterday my last "free" Monday before I go back to gaming (I'll need to sleep before the game), it was a good way for us to spend the afternoon together. Well, the bunny's hole has been covered. Her tunneling was getting a bit much plus is was starting to go the way where hadn't put the wire up. In the end we filled the hole & covered the area in rocks. She'll dig again, I'm sure. I mean, if she didn't, she wouldn't be Thumper the bunny.

Zink
No idea exactly how much rain we've gotten lately but enough that I've been in the house most of the time. Been getting a few hours a day in painting but my back bugs me if I sit that way too long. I'm seeing the end of the tunnel with my medieval russians so I decided to rearrange my shelves and make room for my Warhammer Empire army to come out of boxes. This was the second army I bought back in the 90s and a large part of it is Battlemasters minis. Really thought I had painted more of them before I boxed it up. Played a lot of games with unpainted minis way back then. Was thinking it wouldn't take long to paint and have another finished army on the shelves.... Umm, yeah it may take longer than I thought even at my current speed for tabletop quality. Not like I'm under any time constraints to finish but I'm hoping it won't be another 20 years. 4 large armies finished or very close and 4 more that need a lot of paint all for games I play a couple times a year. Miss the days when we had at least weekly games and sometimes more.

I got impatient and used a heat gun to try and speed up the process a bit, and I warped the bases into uselessness. Go me. 7 hours ago, Mad Jack said: Have you tried using a curing oven? Usually, about half an hour under the light is enough to get the green to the point where you can continue to work on it without screwing up our previous efforts... It's pretty easy to make one out of a metal can and a cheap desk lamp with an incandescent bulb. This ^. And... explained better than I was going to.

Where I'm at, with the storms usually passing close by instead of reaching us, the humidity has been atrocious, and combined with bright searing sunlight. So the current rain today solved both of those problems.

Pezler the Polychromatic
Ordered a couple figures from GW on Apr.18 (while they were technically still shut down) when they said they'd send it as soon as things opened up, still didn't get it so I emailed them this weekend asking when it would be sent. Absolutely no response given, but magically I got an order notice today that it was being shipped. Methinks that the order had been forgotten about until I mentioned it.
