Goodness knows how bad I'm going to be on the day- we have to drop her off at 9am and wait nervously all day until we pick her up at about 6pm, so I'll have all day to freak out and let the brainweasels run rampant. She's fairly old and I'm terrified that she won't come out of the anesthetic. I know that cases like that are rare, and I trust my get implicitly, but it doesn't stop me worrying. Unfortunately, it won't be for 6 days because our vet is running on a skeleton staff due to Covid. On the plus side, she's currently bellowing at me to serve her dinner. Whether or not the picky little Madam reigns to eat what I offer her is another story I totally get that. I've had bad days when one of my dogs had to go to the vet for x-rays or surgery. That's what loving a pet does to you. Good luck! 8
Popular Post Morihalda
After an absolutely exhausting day of driving around, signing papers, moving a few essentials, cleaning, deep cleaning, really really really cleaning yesterday..... My cats are taking my nap for me. Somehow they already figured out which room was supposed to be the cat-free art room. And they refuse to leave it. But! Yes! This means we got the house! 22 3

Green Eyed Monster
Grumble California, has raised the Gas Tax - again. Already the highest in the nation, it's gonna cost even more to fillup the truck now. Less money to spend on necessities such as paint and brushes. The cats are testing the natural sunlight levels of the room so they can give it their seal of approval. It appears to passing, but more testing may be needed to be certain it is ready for you to use. WhiteWulfe
You know you're a bit of an audiophile when watching a new series and when you see someone whip out a shotgun and you're all, IT'S ABOUT TO GET... ... Wait, why does that... Yeah, they used a stock sound of a pistol firing.... FOR A SHOTGUN. ...And you're shouting this at your monitor. Beyond that though, first episode was nice.

As someone who cant grow skin and has a hard time healing wounds I am glad you get to give the overly conservative something to think about. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to just think about some overstuffed beaurocrat trying to wrap his little mind around someone doing something that is actually different or artistic 2 hours ago, Kuroneko said: Thank you, I'm getting myself all upset about it already. Multiple x-rays, full blood work and something involving putting a little bit of sterile water into her lungs and then removing it to see if there is anything nasty lurking in there. Best case scenario is that everything comes back negative, then we can just up her current meds. Worst case, well, you know what it could be. Insurance won't be contributing as it's a preexisting condition, so it's going to be almost a grand in total. Looks like I'm not getting any of the Reapercon stuff this year! She's going in next week, so I get to fret about how she'll handle the anesthetic for the next six days. Going to go give her a hug now. Possibly tell her she needs to get a job. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the best possible outcome. 5 hours ago, haldir said: So is Friday, the recognized fed day for "regular" workers?
