But, but.... IKEA is awesome. My housemate says that it's basically my Mothership

I like Ikea’s products and stores well enough, but the issue is the crowds..

My wife once texted me from Ikea to say going there on a weekend was the worst decision ever.

And that’s where my partner is, so we haven’t been lately.

Brunch today was scrambled eggs with kale and buckwheat pancakes with homemade blueberry syrup:

The weather is headed for 95 (ie 32) with high humidity, so I might get some more painting done after all, in lieu of being pressed into service for the mulch gang.

I've been dragging Grump into CoH.

He is doing much better with a Brute than with a Warshade.

I'm playing a Mastermind, and treating him as one of my dimmer minions.  Bo'sun Fellkeep, take them out!

I'm one of the heroes, but I am acting acting like one of the villains! ::P: My original version of Meg was on Going Rogue, and skirting the whole hero/villain dynamic.

Since CoH has come back I've logged a lot of time in. Three characters, Meg is my team player.

At the last moment oldest vixen decided to stay home.

So it was just me and my girl.

I just let her choose the things she wanted, we also went to some other furniture outlets, then had coffee in a nice place.

All in all a good afternoon, due to the virus the Ikea wasn't as crowded as usual.

This was a good moment to visit.

We just got home, I made Tex-Mex style wraps for dinner, walked Brutus and now I'm here with you.

Monday and Tuesday I will work from home.

The rest of the week I will work at the Base.

Rain is still here, yay!

Which might well be why I've had a surprisingly productive morning...

Diecast '32 is now weathered, now just waiting on the body panels to dry and to finish painting the interior.

The AMT '32 is more or less at the same stage.

The wheels however keep moving themselves to weird angles...

Most of the AMT's interior is done.

Sniffing about online, I've found a source for recasts of Marx Toy Factory's "Untouchables" line, since they're more or less 1:32/1:35, I'm thinking they might scale nicely. I'm also considering maybe some toy mice if I can find some in a reasonably close scale...Motorized Cheese Bandits...which is leading me to wonder just how Gaslands rules might work if scaled up to 1:25...then perhaps an opposition team of 1950s Greaser Gnomes....

You need to have a mouse dressed up like James Cagney in Taxi!...

Since the LCD is a consumable it will happen.

I bought a spare when I bought my printer.

Luckily not had to replace it yet ( knock on wood).

When you do replace it, would you mind taking pics of the process and show it in the 3D thread?

It will be educational for us all I think.

Even better is the Anycubic "How to install" video.

I like their videos but good thing you can go back & rewind. They speed em up a bit.

I started playing Baldur's Gate (enhanced edition) as Husband has it on Steam. I'm enjoying it. I haven't played, or attempted to play, it since I was a kid. It seems both easier and harder this time around.

I think I've played BG, maybe once or twice. Which is funny since I've played most of the D&D video games quite a bit, especially the gold box ones.

Did you remember to add the +2 for Sephie's Aid Another check?

That’s a -8 for her Aid Another.

Seriously tempted to let her super glue her hands together.... but Hubby says that’s bad parenting.

Ever had a cat decide that what your miniature really needs is some extra fur?
