Wanna know how I know this? If it was, the last few pieces would still be stuck to the bottom of the box and you'ld have to to pound on the bottom of it in a hopeless attempt to shake them free. 2

lowlylowlycook
Bah, launch canceled due to weather. I guess they didn't have any flexibility in the launch time. 1

Green Eyed Monster
You have just experienced an event recreating the NASA experience in the 1960s. Planned launch, Live TV coverage, launch gets scrubbed. GEM Addendum: Next attempt on Saturday. Moderator Popular Post OneBoot Posted May 27, 2020 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted May 27, 2020 Well, this is a pleasant surprise! I have a job interview on Friday! I wasn't expecting to get an interview anywhere for another few months, so I'm pretty excited. On the flip side, this means I need to immediately shove my circadian rhythm back in line with the rest of the daywalking folks. It also means I'm gonna have to figure out how to people again, like, super fast. Especially since this will be for a front-desk position at a speech therapy clinic (which is ironic in ways I'll elaborate on later). Not having a paid job for the past few years, and basically no in-person social interaction for the past few months, has poorly prepared me for this, but I'm gonna do my best! NebulousMissy
Launch window needs to be exact in order to rendezvous with the ISS because of physics. If they can't hit that rendezvous exactly then there's no reason to launch and then miss. 7

Huzzah! --OneBoot :D Hooray for the Interview! You can do this. You are a bright and charming lady with good people skills. Everybody is in the same situation right now in the area of people skills. Personally, I think those of us who participate in this and similar forums are ahead of the curve with respect to the people who have been just sitting at home with the remote in one hand and the potato chips [or other comfort food] in the other.
Jasper_the_2nd
Boo that the launch was aborted, but everything was great except for the weather. I do struggle not to giggle every time they call them Bob and Doug. 4 2

Sure they do, and make them Commander of the ISS on top of it. You may not realize it, but we are capable of much more than just saying Sorry and Eh. 11
