I'm told there are probably just two weeks of Avernus left. Don't know if I'm gonna live through it.

 

I'd like to do something besides stare at the Internet and scroll and click, but that's about all I've managed to do this week. Can't even read, much less write. I'm about at peak uselessness.

 

Dang lol, y'all sad-reacting reacting that, so I must be giving the wrong impression. Everything's pretty all right; I'm just ridiculously unable to get myself motivated.

He paused it, and told me to look at the main character's hair and glasses.

 

OMG! How did I not notice that! Someone had a grandkid!

Aaaaaand it's been pushed back to March.

 

I just realized why the name of the mine is important.

 

This is a real sequel, two generations later. Ivo Shandor had a backup plan.

 

Pulling out Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters, but not Real Ghostbusters or Ghostbusters 2.

 

I am educating BD on her cinematic history!

 

I may pull out Answer the Call, but only for Chris Hemsworth.

There's something so satisfying about finishing off a miniature... Doubly so when it's the first of the year for you. 

 

Of course, editing the photos I kind of threw away what I told hubby I was planning on doing... Oops.

I've cut the ties with a longtime friend of mine a few years ago.

If it doesn't feel right then it is time to evaluate the situation.

 

I asked myself,

• Does this feel right?
• Can we talk about it and maybe change things?
• What are we both getting out of this friendship?
• Is it all still worth it?

You'll figure it out when you got your answers to those, then act.

Life is too short to be dealing with toxic situations.

Oh it has to be a flat bed, but finding one that can handle a car as low as mine around here is tricky.  I'm actually hoping to find one of the local race guys with their race trailer empty if I can. It will be lower and cheaper....

Hmmm, I hadn't considered that they could come get it.  No idea if they do that around here or not.....

She moved him in while Jake, her ex-fiance, was still living there.

Ufff... that stinks. All around. Glad Jake got away.

My 4 cup Mr. Coffee that I use to make hot water for tea at my desk has given up the ghost, as it has stopped heating water.

I think I paid a little over $4 for it almost a decade ago.  It was on sale, one of those loss leader deals to get you in the store to spend even more money.  I was actually in the store for other things and spotted this and just tossed it in the cart with the other goodies.

I guess I need to order a new one.

I have a massage therapy session in a couple of hours.  I can not wait.  It has been over 13 weeks since my last one.  I usually go ever 3 weeks, or more often if my neck or back are really acting up.

I expect this will be brutal, and I'll be pretty much wiped for the rest of the day, but hopefully by Sunday I'll be moving much better.

Not far off from what I get done when my back and hips get out of alignment:

 

That's a stock image, but boy does that help.  Nothing like being hooked up to what is more or less a smart engine hoist and having it realign everything.

We've used it preemptively over the years (since my last impingement) any time things feel too out of alignment.  As my last impingement resulted in my walking with a cane for half a year, I've gotten pretty good at judging.

 

Reminds me I need to find a new physio, hard to keep seeing the one a 4 hour drive away....
