Succulent plants are best plants! Not only do they not mind terribly if they're neglected for *cough* long periods of time, they're the only plants I've encountered with an integrated Reset button. I've restarted both of my succulents a few times due to various reasons.

EDIT: Oh hey, after looking at your pictures, I think I might have the same exact one! I don't know what it is, I just got a couple leaves from a family member who got it from who knows where, but it looks identical.

Huzzah!

For those of you who remember my Tamiya Clears experiments, the links to the original threads are getting harder and harder to find quickly - so I finally spent some time and added them all to my profile page:
https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/profile/3533-kristof65/&tab=field_core_pfield_11

For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, a couple years back I did some experiments with various Bones Translucents and the Tamiya Clear paints.

Aaaaaand I'm going to need even more brushes soon, aren't I...  Yup, I'm going to have to add those to my wishlist...

& remember too, red clear makes for some great blood effects as well. Well, I guess the green does too, if your going for Vulcan or orc blood......

Apparently the size to be alarmed about is 450 feet in diameter. Depending on the shape, that is about the size of a battleship.

A battleship is 200 feet longer than that.::):

We're in the process of hunting for a new kitchen, it will probably be January before it can be installed.

Be careful, they're really quite dangerous in the wild.::P:

I think it's more a case that once I start dabbling with the clears I'll have "no choice" but to also dabble in their panel liner series too...

Figured I'd post this before I forget. First pic is in the sunlight. Second is kinda out of it. Third is in front of my monitor.

Tamiya TS 19 (I think) Smoke over bare plastic. No dullcoat as that will ruin the transparency effect.

I actually just picked up the black as I've been curious about it myself. Things to keep in mind. It's enamel, you'll need enamel thinner to wash it off. What I read on a scale model forum, it'll eat other coats of paint. Odd that is does this. I can't recall which ones thou. I'll try & find that forum post & edit this one, when I can. I'm thinking it'll be safe for Tamiya sprays (hoping) as that is majority of my model spraying. I did see where some one applied it onto the bare plastic of a car body. Said it looked more realistic that way vs doing it after. Hmmm, we shall see.

Depends on the era. The first USS Texas was 140 feet shorter. HIJMS Mikasa is 20 feet shorter. HMS Brittania (1904) was 3 feet 9 inches longer.

A potato shaped asteroid 450 feet long, but about 200 feet thick at its second longest dimension would be close to the same volume as a late war battleship that was 650 feet long but only 65 feet wide at the beam. A ragged, but more spherical, asteroid that was 450 feet measured three or more direction would be a considerably larger volume than a 650-680 foot US battleship from late WW2.

A battleship as in, "…the-size-of-a-battleship…", is just intended as a relatable approximation so folks can get a general idea of: how big is a dangerous asteroid.

(I don't expect people to picture in their heads a bunch of battleships, of different classes, ranked by length, superimposed over the silhouettes of different possible asteroid shapes. I mean, I DO. But I have an idea I am not normal. )

Battleships used to be so purty….

The Great White Fleet really must have been something to see!

Worked overtime to be ready for a morning of meetings tomorrow. Finishing dinner, and onto studying for the next 2 hours... less than 3 weeks to go...

By working overtime do you get to skip the meetings?  Does that mean you get to take off early on Friday to offset the overtime??

My youngest son got parts in both of his College's plays. Practice gets over late and tonight is the first one. He is not real fond of driving and even less fan of driving in the dark. So he asked if I would drive h to practice and back home the next couple of nights so he can get a little more comfortable I. The dark. I said yes. So I have dropped him off and now am sitting at Sonic awaiting my dinner.

I finally found my bits box. The butchering can commence.  It's a shame Reapercon isn't real this year. I need more heads.

Somehow I can picture you dressed as the Queen of Hearts screaming 'OFF WITH THEIR HEADS'..........
