Sylverthorne
Elfing balls. And in this case, I am referring to the giant dust bunnies I swept out from under/behind/beside the old, dying fridge. Ugh. And of course, the wind's coming up from the south, which means our air quality is hosed, so I can't even open the windows (not that I could, it's like .. a million degrees out. Okay, no, it's only about 70F, but it feels warmer). Oh, and one of my monitors crapped out last night, which... how the heck did I ever manage to work with just one!? New fridge tomorrow, provided Lowes doesn't forget how to do that again (... the Saga of the Cheap Fridge will never be forgotten, guys. NEVER), which means we'll finally be rid of the Ice Demon from Heck. I'm also pretty bummed out; the weaver's gone. :/ There are others, pretty golden weavers, with roughly the same patterning, but the big grey one that lived on the henitentiary gate is gone. I am tired and grumpy. Definitely comfort food tonight, even if I have to cook it myself. 7
Pegazus
Woke up a bit sick this morning. Not corona. Put in an hour of work and then went back to bed where I slept covered in concerned fuzzies until noon. Had a soup and sandwich, plate of pickles, and a plate of pepperchinis so am feeling better.

Which do you think is a better choice - buying a 3D printer, or backing the Bones kickstarter? 16 hours ago, Inarah said: Do you want Bones minis that you can paint right out of the box, or do you want a machine you have to tweak and twiddle with which will allow you to make a variety of interesting and entertaining objects? A 3d printer is a project by itself, even before you get to the cool files you can print. If you just want to paint, get the Bones. If you like longer, involved projects, get the printer. I agree with this. ^^^^ 5

The question was what angsty teens were listening to, not what is the current angsty music. Of course my sample size is ridiculously small. Well my sample agrees with your sample. My angsty now-18-year-old listens to a lot of Nightcore. Of course you also had a daughter in choir, as I recall, which might be a related factor. When I was an angsty teen I *did* listen to Simon & Garfunkel, mainly because those guys understood being depressed. The smoke is so bad here that the aforementioned angsty teen's get together with friends was cancelled. (It was supposed to be a meet-up at a park.) And seriously, I can't keep up with you guys. I've apparently got to trouble-shoot every Zoom meeting my sixth grader has because half of them won't work. Among other things.
MusicalFeline
The results of those who got into the play are probably up by now. Fortunately, I currently can't access the Google Classroom to see it. Unfortunately, that means I have to stew in my nervous anticipation for about another two hours. Fortunately, that gives me plenty of time to prepare for getting my soul crushed. Unfortunately, half of me refuses to be that my soul will be crushed. Ugh.

If the school can't figure out Zoom they need to have a viable alternative. GEM

I think there's just a configuration issue with the youngest's account or something. They did step up and provide Chromebooks, which is awesome, but it's extremely challenging to roll out all digital learning in the time frame we've got. Normally it would take a team of specialists six months to a year to design and roll out something like this. The school didn't have that kind of money or time.
Green Eyed Monster
OY! Just went to the Reaper Pledge Manager and decided what I want. Mow that I've made my initial decision, the Pledge Manager has decided it wants another Buck and a quarter. Good thing I've got a couple of months to scratch it together.
