I'm pretty sure that the official sign of transitioning to adulthood is when your attitude to snow changes from "yay" to "oh noes" <_<

Grump is still a child then. <_<

I'm the one going "nooooooo!" And dropping to her knees in grief. ::P:

Grump still does snow angels.

My life has turned into an RPG. Let me explain.

We have a coyote problem at my house. It wasn't so bad when it was one, because my German Shepherd could usually go toe to toe with it and win. That said, she has had a few scrapes and bites from fights. A few days ago, I realized the coyote puppy had grown up and was now joining mommy in an effort to lure my dog out into the field and then beat up on her. They took after her and almost got her in the rump; they scared her so bad she let her anal glands go. I did get some delight in the fact she literally spayed poop in their faces. However, the problem is getting out of hand. I have asked everyone I know to come over and shoot the coyotes. Hazing doesn't work, we tried.

Last night, I realized I was the poor villager trying to get brave adventurers to hunt down the awful monsters, but none of the adventures were interested in my hook.

Whipping up some rice this morning to go with the leftovers of the roast... And used most of the stock from the crockpot as the water for the rice.  This is either going to be really tasty rice, or an epic flop...

Either way, we'll have roast and rice..!

It came out like fried rice. Sweeeet!

Sigh...  day 5 of school and both kids are home with different symptoms.  Taking tomorrow off to stand in line, likely all day, to get them tested so they can hopefully go back to school eventually (any sort of illness and the school won't take them back for 14 days minimum without a negative test).  Of course heading out to the testing sites is always a good place to actually get sick...  Now I need to talk to my gaming group to see if they are still ok with gathering this weekend.

While homeschooling them last spring sucked on many, many levels, knowing we were pretty safe in our quasi-quarantine did have it's advantages.

I feel like a lot of things I've had to say to anyone lately is preceded by "I'm so tired..." Or some for of that. I went upstairs for like half an hour earlier and did some cleaning up. Thought about painting but can't find my water container. It's probably hiding in my suitcase still...

I think the poor air quality is causing increased fatigue for a lot of people.

For those of us who are doing school completely online, it's somewhat comforting to know that there are upsides to being isolated.  I'd love to see rapid testing done at the schools, I think that's the only way to make in person school work.  Hopefully we can get there soon.

Whee, work truck goes back into shop. I could hear the main guy we deal with rolling his eyes through the phone...  Two tires had bad beads, and were slowly leaking. Road test, and all shows clear. I drive it home, no issues.

This morning? Low tire pressure warning.  I swear, if I didn't know any better my truck has a crush on one of the mechanics or something!

The air inside the tyre shrinks(?)

How cold was it overnite? Do you have a truck barn to park it in? Boyle’s Law....

There is usually enough range for the sensors for that. Sometimes in Feb if you are hitting -30 or so overnight you might get a warning.  Hopefully Edmonton isn't there yet.....
