Well, he said it's a new machine - if it's internet connected, it may well have fallen down a Youtube rabbit hole and just now remembered it was in the middle of something, lol.

So the spirit of the distracted goat meme is now heating Green Eyed Monster's water....considering the goat's need to urinate and oblivious nature, I wouldn't trust it with a water heating device.

It's the cheapest desktop sized coffee maker/water heater that Wally World had.  If it's internet connected, it's through the AC Plug

Hey,  to keep y'all updated, no, I'm not dead. I'm just gonna be on a bit of a hiatus for a while now, so don't expect many posts from me in the near future. Life happened.

And when I do die, I'll be sure to post here and tell you. :poke:

The City of Berserkley Berkley, Cal. has passed a law requiring "healthy checkout stands" at all 25 of the stores in the city.  No more soda's and "junk food" adjacent to the registers, only what the food police consider "healthy".  Going to take a lot of people a lot longer to get their goodies and go.

I guess instead of the snack size, calorie conscious treat I'll have to get the giant party size bag from the chips and snacks aisle....

Out of curiosity, have you two ever both started a miniature, then swap and finish each other's?

Only with permission - stealing a half painted mini is just wrong....

What we sometimes do, when painting a lot of Terrain Crate stuff, for example, is split the duties.

I prime and base coat, she details and dips.

My eye operation is on Election Day - then I can do detail again, I hope.

So the IKEA labyrinth floor plan is the end goal? Or perhaps the middle...

Enter store, having small list of items needed.

Learn that in order to be given access to the exit, one must either have a certain dollar amount spent to be allowed to leave or pay a marked up "exit fee"...

Each store soon has a small group of people who refuse to do either, and settle in as squatters.

Squatters form into tribes once the numbers grow large enough, and their descendants engage in vicious Coke vs Pepsi holy war.

I did say swap, perhaps I should have prefaced it with "intentionally", because you are correct: stealing minis, whether unpainted or half-painted, is criminal.

D&D went well! I ran long, an hour and a half to get going and run the first episode, which was supposed to clock in at an hour. I'm generally a little slow (lol). I had everyone totally engaged and making their own decisions, and I was pretty well on top of things with delivering details and descriptions and all (even half-assed a couple voices, which I can't do at all, but). Aside from the Roll20 stuff. Lost some time to that, trying to make all the gadgets work and keep up with everything on the screen. Sure I'll do better there next time. I'm such a Luddite. But I learn.

Had a lot of fun. Everyone seemed enthusiastic enough to continue it next week. I go so long without doing this thing I forget I'm pretty okay at it (though I'd rather be running my own cooked-up stuff, Lord knows. And Pathfinder. But). Feels good, man.
