I've been trying to clean and organize my apartment during all this... Well, all of the madness that is this year, and I'm kind of hitting a road block. I'm trying to get rid of stuff but I'm not sure if there's many places that are taking donations. I'm not even to try to see if Powell's is buying used books.

Wait, Powell's runs on used books!  If they aren't taking in new material, I don't think they will survive and that would be a real shame.  I haven't been to their Portland store in a decade or more and I still remember the sight of a city  block of used books. That and the intoxicating smell of coffee, old paper and wood.  I really need to back there...

They shut down all of their stores for several months and were only doing online sales until recently. I live near one of their locations and it looked like the buyer's section was still closed. But, yes, used books offer them the highest profit margin. However, sanitizing books isn't easy from what I understand. You can't sell something that might be dangerous. I'm going to hold on to what I have for as long as I can, and wait until the vaccines come in. Hopefully, it'll be enough to let things resume when it comes to selling.

I've had the same issue.  I have way too many books and not enough shelves. But I don't know if any used books stores are actually taking books....(and I'm lazy so haven't checked......)

And I've put off selling any of my extra game stuff cause that's a lot of work. So many boxes of RPG books.

I was moving my INWO: One with Everything box the other day, which has never even been played (I played the CCG) and made the mistake of checking ebay to see how much they were going for.... now I have to decide if I want to put it up for sale, since if I get the average price they are selling for it'd cover my Bone 6 pledge (next year or whenever).

HERESY!

The Pumpkin of Judgement condemns ye to a week of Kraft Canadian Meals!

Can you make it two weeks? Pretty please?

I don't understand why it's considered a punishment. I mean it's all orange. Everyone loves orange food.

Very glad to hear that you're ok.:winkthumbs:

I'm off to visit my mother in Vermont shortly.

Not certain yet, lots of smoke but no open flame, may have been inside the walls.

What did we discuss about using Fireball in a confined space??? ::P:

That the radius becomes 30' instead of 20'?

I had an amusing few minutes watching the machine work its soapy magic while blasting the radio (a tradition my family had, for some reason), slowly exited through the blow dryers, then realized that part of the experience had been missing.

Did you have "Car Wash" playing on repeat? All other answers may be unacceptable, but will be considered.
