It's a beautiful wet iconic fall day outside. My dad is prepping for a photography show which means spray lacquer in the basement, so I'm out in the beautiful day. I should get my mandolin. Oh right. I am no longer in the Charleston SC area where we have been the last 13 years. We took the opportunity afforded by my April job loss to move back to western NY where I grew up. Thus, the availability of actual seasons again. Good luck! I hope you'll get the job!

I will try some other stuff ( Soda an vinegar) tomorrow or else I will need a plumber.. Last time I had a serious slow down in the shower drain, I used a plunger to fix it. If chemicals work, you don't get a mess like I did with a plunger. Another option is a plastic snake (shown below, not sure of the name) with hooks along the edges. Tickets go on sale tomorrow for Dec 11 thru 13th event. GEM I wish I believed that this is likely to happen... I'm currently hoping SakuraCon isn't cancelled for a second year. It normally takes place over Easter so odds aren't great. I made a really good costume for my daughter to wear, too. (Still needs a few components, but my enthusiasm for making those is low at the moment.)
SparrowMarie
I decided yesterday to start some of my nerdy embroidery over (thanking my mom tons for buying me so much floss for Xmas last year). I think this looks much cleaner than it had previously.

Hide contents I can attest to the magic of these little things. Drain clogs are something I regularly deal with (long hair ftw), and these work better than any chemicals. @Glitterwolf If you already used chemicals in the drain, DON'T PLUNGE IT. This can cause backsplash, and nobody needs lye on their skin. Huzzah! --OneBoot :D 8

I do have a metal drain clog but I'm afraid that might damage the pipes. I will look if I can get such a plastic one maybe. Right now I'm more concerned about Brutus.

In a very short-lived 3.5 game I once played a dragonborn paladin who was so close to fireproof that when he'd yell, "Arclight!!!", all three of the party's spellcasters knew to drop their big fire spells on whoever was next to him... He'd regularly charge into large groups of enemies or intentionally let himself get surrounded. One time we loaded him up with a bunch of explode-y consumables and strapped a barrel of oil to him so he could charge a castle gate. 4

You know with all the fires & such. >snip< Oddly, she was doing a grass gathering & normally she just goes about gathering, she decided to gather & then came over for a visit, while she kept the grass in her mouth Smokey Cheddar would have been close to overkill. Lebanon Bologna is a very smokey sort of prepared meat. Adding a smoked cheese would be pushing the limit for overkill. GEM

Same amount of anger as a normal one, but compacted into a tiny form. Spray some air freshener underneath the couch, that should disperse them.
