That would be the Mahna Mahna song. (officially Mah Nà Mah Nà)

So, General Painting Question:

I haven't painted anything metal in *counts fingers, counts toes....gets confused* let's say uhh...twenty years.  I don't have any "regular" primer, and will soon be starting the Nativity set for Ma Strawhat.

Do I bite the proverbial bullet and purchase some sort of paint-on primer (spray priming season is over) or will the liners work for metal like they do for plastic?

Although a primer is usually the way to go, for just one mini?

Use the liner.

I used a Grey Liner here on a metal mini and it worked for me.

First page, scroll down a bit.

Ugh, 3 hours sleep.  Windows server patching was last night and we have to shut some things down before and validate they come back up after, I lucked out with being on-call this week.....

Glad I didn't stay up waiting for our new servers to get done, since they were still up this morning, so I guess they were missed (I hope that doesn't mean they are doing them tonight. ::(:)

DIET COLA!!!

Rain, rain, don’t go away!

Pour and drizzle, stay, stay, stay.

(It has been raining all night with infrequent rumbles of distant thunder. I like it.)

Please take our rain, it looks dramatic but I'm getting kinda sick of having to put the lights on at noon <_<

....and today I've been taking photos for my first Show Off threads since January ^_^. Obviously the feline overlords have intently inspected my high tech setup

I just received a weird "incoming coded transmission" email from a "grimm @reaper.com" address.

Something, something about hacking Reaper's network. That I'm invited to test me. And capital letters are interspersed to spell the word "BIRTHDAY".

Now I'm unsure if I should report it (to Reaper? Gmail?) or just ignore and delete it.

I got it too, and my first thought was "neat idea, but such a pity that anyone trained in any form of IT security is going to nuke this email with how it's written"

I also got one of those emails.

I notice that it is sent via a sparkpost service, so it's impossible to tell if it actually came from Reaper.

(Sparkpost delivers 'email intelligence platform'  of some sort. )

It only occurred to me after I posted the above. It's not exactly the best known event.

Still unsure what to do.
