CaptainPete
I'm not going to apologize for this one. And, yes, I'm probably going to keep posting a funny picture a day. Some of you are having a really hard time right now and I don't know what to say or how to react. So, I hope I can give you a chuckle at the very least.
BadgersinMeadows
New GW preview was interesting. Quite a few things I want to get, elves near top of the list. Need to get painting soon, very stressed with academics. Doubt it'll get better before final exams, which may be the very death of me.
Pegazus
Whelp, major purchase out of the way. Got to spray down the away-team’s car and then cover it when dry until he comes back from college. Got to put snow tires up in the trailer. Then I should sweep the old computer one last time before it gets shut down. Probably need to leave it set up for another month before I decommission it and store it away. Maybe some beekeeping prep. After that, I should start streaming something to relax and unwind.

It was enough time to have my breakfast, go to the post office and pet food store, come home, have some more coffee, and post to the forums. All in all, pretty great! Way better than his usual 40 minute daytime naps. COFFEE! Just wait. eventually he will sleep through the night for the first time, and if you are like most first parents you will collapse in exhaustion for 4 hours and then your slightly rested brain will panic and shake you awake because the kid has been asleep too long and something must be wrong! (i wish i could put that last statement in purple but it happens a lot!)

Our first baby was “colicky” (turns out he was constantly hungry), but even up to age two he was hard to get to lay down and go to sleep. Our second baby got a bit older, and when we put her in the crib, would actually fall asleep! Scared the hell out of us! 3

The thought came to me as I was wandering around said store looking for a few different things, and seeing all the different bits that make up a house on display, including windows and doors (as well as all the associated hardware). MrBoot, ever the practical one, pointed out that in real life, Minecraft blocks all cost money. Huzzah! --OneBoot :D For me it’s Skyrim houses. I’ve got all of them and I keep wishing I could just build my own house using that carpenter work bench. That would be so amazing!

I was glad to see that the Heavy Intercessors in the Kill Team box are multi-part, but I'm still contemplating whether or not to get it or wait until they're boxed separately.
WhiteWulfe
So glad I don't do spray paint priming. It's -20C outside before wind. I suspect the living room is going to be a bit cool for a while...
Rob Dean
So, my son usually does the pie crusts. I need to improve my crust skills, so tonight’s supper will be a spinach/mushroom/gruyere quiche in a scratch crust. It’ll be YouTube videos before I try rolling out the other one. (Two crust recipe.) NB : This is the before; crust blind baked, filling added but not baked, so, no, it isn’t set... haldir
Wow, I just did a stupid thing & somehow selected everything I had written & deleted with a couple keystrokes.....sigh. More or less, game today started off good, but it ended with me ripping into the player that lately seems to argue over things during the game. His excuse was "oh, that's my character's point of view"....yah whatever. As I've said before, I like the guy, even thou, allot of views are radically different then mine (no problem there, why would I want everyone to be the same). He also the guy that supposedly had Covid, but we'll never know since he didn't want to get a test. (Not a argument I want to discuss or get into). Players are hard to find right now + I want to play the game every week, but I think if his behavior gets annoying or when I finally ask the other players if he's becoming annoying to them. I'll let him know he isn't welcome anymore, but for now game will continue. I do need to let my FLGS, that I'd like a 5th person for the game. I know the store has a rpg program right now that helps them bring in some cash, but they know I have a weekly game going & I'll help run games for them, when we can game again at the store. I do need to let the guy know before the next game, I apologize for my outburst. As again it was more or less build up from the past few weeks. I know he'll understand (or at least I hope so, but who knows with his views). Again, good game up until that point.

Green Eyed Monster
Back from an exhausting trip to Carson City. @strawhat I'm so sorry to hear about your Mother. Loosing a parent is never easy. @ManvsMini it is never easy when a beloved furry family member crosses over that Rainbow Bridge. You gifted them with a life of loving attention and they have returned that love with their own love, a set of memories that can never be lost. Our new home is on the property and the setup crew is well on the way to having the exterior work completed. I started on the front stoop and steps, but the house is sitting slightly higher [about a foot] off the ground than I had anticipated so the bill of materials needed adjustment and I don't have the steps finished yet. that will happen later this next week as well as the back stoop and the deck off of the dining room sliding door. Now if the various people responsible for utilities will get their work done we will be major steps closer to moving day. I'm spending today doing my vegetable imitation as I'm just flat out exhausted from too much physical exertion. A sedentary 71 year old man with multiple physical problems doing a "full day's work" several days in a row leads to an aching body and a brain feeling sluggish. SoCal is getting some badly needed rain today! Now I just hope we don't get too much in one dose otherwise we move from fire season straight into mud slide season.
