Colonel Kane Posted February 11, 2021 Share Posted February 11, 2021 Morning all. final day of the work week for me, day 6. just 4 more hours and I am done...... then start back up on Saturday.... the day I have to put my dog of 12 years down. I will be a wreck, but work does not care, we are two people short and another one threatening to quit. I hate people.. which makes working retail suck even more... it it is like 13 and feels like -2. This weekend should be down into the single digits for highs..... that is not normal weather for here. The wife informed me this morning that the weather men are talking about -31 wind chill this Sunday. The people to my north decided to share their lovely weather with us. I hate the cold, the snow is pretty, but it comes with the cold.... and brings mud with it, so mopping the floors at work are a pain. Sorry for all the negative, the only positive that I can see, is in two weeks time I will be headed to hang out with Ludo to paint. I really am getting the itch to run a GURPS game, but I would not know what to run, fantasy, Traveller, or Fallout... oh well. Not a lot of people like GURPS for some reason.... Well, I hope everyone is doing ok. Crowley enjoy this time, they grow quickly and time always seems to slip by. Discovered that while I knew that the heroic 28mm scale used in most RPGs is bigger than hard 28mm, nobody told me the historical stuff would be a full head shorter. Boo!
