Looked it up, it looks tasty but I don't drink milk in my coffee, on the other hand, could one substitute the milk with a scoup of vanilla icecream?

The fluffy coffee can be quite intense but I think icecream should be just as good. Let me know if you make it with ice cream, I haven't tried it like that!

Engineer: Can you write up a document for this procedure?
Me: I'll need the technical data for this component.
Engineer: Talk to Purchasing
Purchasing:  I don't have it, but you can down load it here (sends link to vendor website)
Vendor website: Sure, you can have this datasheet - just sign up for an account!
Me: $#@%@%$^!!! This is going to lead to spam. <breaks down and signs up>

2 weeks  later:

Vendor Salesperson: OH HI NEW CUSTOMER! WHAT CAN I SELL YOU?

He's not that far away from your neck of the woods.

He's vaccinated. You got your stab. He would probably appreciate some beverages :winkthumbs:. Do I need to set you up with a food trading partner? hah!

Only if the train goes there.

I don't own a car

I'm currently working as a maintenance engineer. This... this is also my life now. Except I'm also the guy writing up the procedure.

Fortunately, being with a consulting firm, it's the customer's (equipment owner) responsibility to get those manuals from the stingy/secretive suppliers. Assuming the supplier still exists (or sold off to another company under a different name), or the model isn't discontinued, etc.

Maybe? I don't actually know. The train goes from your area to my uncle's area. Does it go to DC-ish area too?

So I've been character creation mode the last few days. As I mentioned before next week we are switching up the AL games & running lower level games for newer people. Since I always make a 2nd level character thanks to my previous experiences of DMing, at least I've got a one up on character abilities. Currently, I've got the following character/concepts made:

full blood orc druid (Circle of Wildfire from Tasha's): This one is my favorite but it doesn't stray to far from my current artificer/steel defender character.

halfling rogue (will be a thief, I think): It's been awhile since I've played a rogue & might as well make it a halfling.)

tabaxi bard (not sure where I wanna go with this one)

tortle warlock (Hexblade): Probably my 2nd favorite. I'm basing the character on a mini from Bite the Bullet (tortle cleric). I just need to print off a spear to replace, the maul. I wish I could use a glaive, as I think that would be a cool looking character, ehh heavy & 2 handed, so spear it is.

elf (high-moon) cleric of the Twilight Domain. Typical cleric but with elf stuff & of course Twilight domain.

Hmm. FB giving me ads for a paint-and-take in New Jersey, but that seems a little long a drive from Tennessee.

I once drove 14 hours from southeast CT down to Point Pleasant, WV (Home of the Mothman) to do Rocky Horror...

Anyone a model plane modeler?

Curious as a general rule, how much weight, people put into the nose, so as not to have a tail sitter plane. I'm debating on getting white metal (ie minis!!) landing struts for my Mitchell build, but I still am gonna throw in the weight.

I did go in on anther HL 40% off/free shipping deal again. Not as many models but I did get anther Death Star II kit (hopefully this one doesn't get pooched.....<_<). I also ordered a P51B Mustang kit as well. I'm not one for military models but I'm kinda getting excited to build up these. I like the WWII era stuff over more modern machines.

I've usually found that the kit itself tells you how much weight you need to add, for 1/72 modern jets (F-15E etc) approx 5g seems to be fairly common.
