I thought society was getting better at that after the years of Mac vs PC commercials, but somewhere along the line it reversed course.

I want that mini for bones 6

I believe that the iPoison has something to do with that

Back when there were PC vs Mac commercials people realised they needed to learn about technology, then modern dumbPhones came along and everyone forgot they needed to know anything...

It has/had a warranty. I think it was only 1 year though and we got this in January of last year. If it's a longer warranty I can't find paperwork that confirms that.

THis sort of crap is why we have our consumer protection laws in AU, unfortunately just because we have these consumer protection laws doesn't mean that the companies actually bother respecting them, or anyone bothers policing them

On my view we just started p998.

Your post was the last post on Page 995 for me. I don’t play with settings so you might be able to assume that as a “default” condition. Safari browser on iPhone SE

Keep in mind that this is also the society that thinks the browser is the Internet.

OY!

Today is a borderline migraine day.

All the symptoms, lights sensitivity, upset stomach, feeling like I've been turned inside out. Plus the whacking big headache.

Just took "the big red pill".  If that doesn't work in an hour it's time for a dose of hydrocodone, which, on top of the big red pill, will probably almost knock me out.

I second @Green Eyed Monster's suggestion to check the manufacturer's website.  Also check to see if there is any class action litigation pending regarding your specific model/manufacturer, as that may affect the warranty.

I found out during our LG Fridge saga last year that many warranties are quietly extended for specific problems on specific models, but they're not widely talked about, especially by service companies.  The disreputable ones will charge the consumer for the part and install, and then turn around and claim the warranty from the manufacturer, but more common is that the service company isn't authorized to do warranty repairs by the manufacturer.

With our fridge, LG had extended the warranty on that specific part, so we were covered - but that wasn't something I knew about until I started trying to figure out who could fix it.  And it was during that struggle to get it covered under warranty that I learned about another impending class action lawsuit against LG, and used that as leverage to get them to pay us off, rather than continue to string us along.

The joy of coming across a decal sheet that you thought was gone due to licensing stuff. Fall Guy tv show logos & such & Slixx decals had the sheet & for the life of me I could never find it on there site again. So I've been trying to find it elsewhere (ebay, online store that might have old stock). Browsing their store this morning & wallah, there it is!! I need to place a order but in my newest model order, I also placed one for a '29 Ford Model A roadster, so I think I'll wait for the package first before deciding if I wanna add a graphics sheet for it as well. Nothing official for it, just random graphics.

Check the manufacturers web site for a copy of the warranty.

Worth a shot.  One year seems awfully short for something like a pump assembly.

Found it, was in the user's manual. 1 year limited warranty from date of purchase. Ugh.
