This dragon looks great as a green dragon.  Beautiful shading on the scales, and nice base too.

This mini is very versatile.   I have one painted up as a black swamp dragon, and intend to paint one up as a red as well.

Nice Dragon!

I would do this one again as well.

Like Citrine I did one as a swamp dragon, black with green wings.

nice work on the claws and horns especially.

but there lining around the wing-bones is distracting.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what the size comparison would be between this and the Gargantuan Red that's out from Wizkids? Working towards the models for the end of a campaign and need their draconic overlord, assuming he doesn't end up going the full Ma'al Drakar route...

this dragon fits on a 2x2 base (large) due to his stance, but should otherwise be considered huge - (3x3)

I would recommend T'RAUKZUL - more affordable than Dragons Don't Share 2, and very large

I mounted him on a 3x3 if that helps.

Thanks to you both! I have the Ma'Al Drakkar sitting on a to do list. (Well, more occupying a large section of floor at the moment) But thinking its more a work up to project at the moment. Still want to give them something suitably large to fight against.

This took over a year - mostly because I procrastinate EVERYTHING - but he's finally done!
      Contest Thread
      Combined Show-Off Thread
      WIP Thread

Colors rolled were Blush Pink (I fudged and went to Breast Cancer Pink so that I can donate him to a survivor that I know), Brilliant Green and Heather Blue.

I have yet to get around to building or acquiring something better for photographing these than printer paper leaned up against the paint rack, but other than that, CnC is, as always welcome.

Started painted minis over the course of the last year for DnD Rise of Tiamat. Not an artist but I’ve enjoyed it....

Blightfang (green) was first, then Cinder (red), and last was Narthrax (blue).

With my bride away on a work trip this week, I decided to try to squeeze in a kinda big project... and after dithering about what it should be, I settled on painting one of my many Bones dragons.

Blightfang was actually a main antagonist in a D&D campaign I ran a while back... so that's the one I decided to paint!

Tonight was spent scrubbing him down, after he'd spent the day soaking in soapy water. I partly glued him together, and then got painting with Green Liner. I'm only partly assembling him, so that I can more easily access the harder to reach spots.

Also the back legs don't fit well into the base he came with, so I'm thinking that I might need to make my own out of cork... And this was supposed to be a quick project... we'll see how I do.
