Very nice, and I like how he fits on the base. It is perfect for the pose he comes in.  Like the way the tail drapes over the end and how he looks like he's about to swipe a fish from the pond.

I love it, you captured the theme well!

Awesome addition with the Koi fish.

That base is wonderful with the fish - and so it the dragon - nice execution of the plate's color scheme

The dragon matches the inspiration plate perfectly and that base is amazing!  Complete with trickling waterfall, very beautiful!

My wife, @Shinma, started to paint the Clockwork Dragon several years ago.
It got to a point where the body was nearly done, and the wings and base remained.

We had prepared a big gear salvaged from a monitor stand, sanded down by a friend.

Then, inspiration and drive was lost and it sat on the shelf, staring at her, unfinished.

Recently she allowed me to finish it. I did the wings, small part of the body, along with the base.
      Here's our result!

Spent just about a week on this one. It was fun. My GS work sucks but it's done. C&C welcome.

I mostly modelled this off Michael Proctor's paint job, and used it as an exercise in learning to push contrast and glaze unlike colours. The photos make the colours seem to little more vibrant than they are in real life. Overall very pleased with the result!

my second dragon for the month.  I didn't put a huge amount of work into this one.  one of my goals was to see how well the contrast paints would work to bring out the basic shading and normal tone for the dragon hide rather than having to hand paint all the scaling.  It didn't work too badly.  I did wind up having to do some significant highlighting and I had to do some additional shading work on the underbelly but overall the effect was pretty good for the time spent.  I probably should have done more with the wings but I just didn't have any inspiration for them.  the sections were pretty small and very flat.  I might go back and do something but for now just blue is where this young guy is.

I did find the base to be pretty cool.  Hope you like him
