June Boon for Noobs in the Room at Noon(June Hobby Goals)

Its that time again! What are you trying to do this month?

probably some more zombicide invader minis, try and finish up my necrons, paint some bones, maybe paint the murder hornet if it's released in time.

The same thing we do every month... Try to take over the world! .. Wait, that's not the script? Fiiiiine.... 

 

Main goals for me this month... 

- finish a few more Infinity miniatures

- tidy up all three desks

- start some sort of larger project on assembly desk (Wyrmgear, the A10, the 28mm Dictator B, etc) 

- Paint some CAV terrain as an excuse to try out basic colours from Mission Models!

I actually have a goal this month!  More than one, actually.

 

1. Finish Heart of the Empire (AT-DP , Ahsoka Tano)
2. Finish Imperial Assault Core (AT-ST, Rebel Saboteurs, Rebel Troopers, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and some other clean-up)
3. Work on other miscellaneous characters (R2-D2, C-3P0, Boba Fett, Alliance Smuggler, Hired Guns, a few others).
4. Bonus: Get Twin Shadows well under way!

Why does this month matter?  Because it's been almost three years since I started painting IA.

I want to actually assemble and paint some models this month.

I haven't done that in a long time...2008 or 09. Sometime before the cataracts [they're gone now].

Let’s carry over my unfinished goals from last month...

1. Finish painting a Khanjira
2. Finish painting a Star Wars: Legion AT-ST
3. Paint at least two Star Wars: Legion units (commander and troop)
4. Paint a resin garage kit
5. Paint my first Reaper metal mini (any kind)

Two items less than last month, but still really ambitious for me.  Expect a lot of SW:Legion stuff getting painted up, because I’m invested in it.

Well my last goals were partly met and partly changed to some other stuff I did finish.

 

This Month:

 

• Finish painting the Vampire Lord in Bat Form
• Finish painting the Lost Kingdom Anubi Hero
• Finish the Sphinx I got from Flying Goat Creations
• Finish the second Giant Snake from Artisan Guild
• Finish the Stygian Snakepriest with Spellbook
• Finish the Benkai Oni
• Finish the Artisan Guild Amazone Fighter
• Finish the Artisan Guild Inca Princess on Panther and dismounted version

I am kinda lost in the wilderness. 

I have been painting the core sets of bones since I started painting.  Now I have finished all the ones I own. 

I have also been painting 1 large/fun model a month.

 

One large model 

dungeons and doggie - St Bernard 

2-4  reaper hobgoblins 

fix prepainted manticore. 

 

Finish bridge terrain

send goodwill box

Alright, time to get back on track.

• finish printing Rocket Pig airship A
• start printing Skies of Sordane Carren Pirates airship 
• resin print some Bob Naismith Overrunners
• Finish that unit of Scout Troopers for SWL
• Finish the last 3 Rebel Veterans for SWL
• Prep and assemble a bunch of SWL.
• Get some solid planning in on that diorama before the year is half over.....

Keeping with my hobby goals for 2020; in June while staying at home, I plan to:P

• Paint nine miniatures from my game Anno Domini 1666
• Paint two character miniatures for my D&D game
• Paint one sci-fi miniature
• Paint this month's Mithril miniature
  • The only stretch goal for June is more figures for Anno Domini

My hobby goals for 2020 include:

• Painting more miniatures for Rangers of Shadow Deep and Frostgrave games (21 so far)
• Entering at least two miniature painting contests (and the monthly Frostgrave contest)
• Painting some sci-fi minis for the game Slipstream (8 so far)
• Painting all the figures in my annual box (8 remain)
• Painting a Mithril miniature each month [On track with 6]

Doing a simple goal again, so the plan is to finish 6.

Based on last month’s disappointing activities, my goal this month is to clean my desk again and do something.
