07001: Rictus the Undying

I love the freehand and the overall colours.

I'm not too sure about the pink around the eyes, I understand it's OSL, but it reads as a pink mask to me, maybe it should be more subtle?

Hmmm, maybe I'll reduce the glow distance a bit. Thanks!

Fantastic NMM, fabric/cloth highlights, and freehanding skills! As for the OSL, You could try brightening the eyeballs up themselves, increasing the red intensity with a brighter red/orange and some yellow at the center. That could make the existing glow around the cheekbones seem a little more natural, but painting in the eyes when the whole figure is already done sounds terrifying, and I already think the OSL looks pretty convincing. Great Job!

The freehand is well executed and I love the nod to the Mandalorian. The nmm is realistic and gives the armor a bit of age. And that watermelon tourmaline is juicy. Love it!

Hello everyone, here are pictures of the third and last of the 06143, Tomb Guards sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. This is the metal version from the Nefsokar Warlord Army Packs. I kept my favorite of the three for last.

I recently painted the three mummies from the pack and will post them on the forum this week. I really enjoyed their big Khopesh and the detail on there shields.

      Hi everyone,

Here is the second skeletal beast I painted last week. This is Bones model 77924, Skeletal Chimera sculpted by Julie Guthrie. I added dirt and moss on it to make it look like it's freshly animated. The leaves are dry birch tree seed hulls. I picked them up in the forest and painted them before gluing them on the base. As a reference, the base is 2 inches wide.
