Wednesday, July 29: If your life was a TV Show,

(...the only place it would get aired would be one of those digital sub-channels in the far end of the spectrum that used to be the UHF zone...)

what would be your catch phrase?

(...and it would get booted off of channel 60.7 and canceled long before the lame writers ever thought of one.)

I've had a personal catchphrase for a while. Whenever I lose my train of thought (which is quite often, sadly), I say: "What was I going to say...something intelligent..." My friend said she was going to miss that when she moved away.

I've been trying to get MoHo to catch on instead of RV for MotorHome, but it hasn't been working. Maybe it sounds to dirty? But if you have to follow one all the way through the mountains, you'll be thinking MoHo.

Not sure how many will get why I'd do this but.... "Reticulating Splines..."  More modern versions that make more sense to the average person would be "Chaos beckons, I heed the call", and there's always my old standby of "when life gives you sheet metal, pull out the dremel and hammer away..."  Those are more sig lines though, than an actual catch phrase.

I remember "reticulating splines". Sim City 2000. It always kind of creeped me out, maybe it was that really early female computer voice. I also wonder, is that actually a thing or just something they put in to tell the player to wait.

You'll need a subscription to HBO to account for the swearing.

But generally speaking, since I'm the quiet one, every time I speak would be unique enough to be a catch phrase.

So I'm more of a quote guy.

That's where it's from, but not why I use it ^_^

As for your wondering, apparently they added it because it sounded cool, and helped you deal with the last half of the wait during the loading screen.
