RESOLUTION

NATIONAL COE - AUGUST 15, 2020

 

The National COE, in permanent session on Saturday, August 15, 2020, by
unanimously of the full members, resolved:

 

1. Approve the modifications to the “Protocol for entering the country by air,
permanence and exit of mandatory preventive isolation ”, updated and
jointly validated by the Unified Command Post –PMU-, as well as by
the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility, Public Health,
Government, Transport and Public Works, Tourism, Economic Inclusion and
Social, National Service of Risks and Emergencies and the National Police; same
that will enter into force from August 15 of the current year, in the
following general terms:

a) Traveler entering with negative RT-PCR test with a validity of up to
ten (10) days before entering the country and without symptoms upon arrival; is
person should not perform APO and their movement may be free in the
continental Ecuadorian territory.

b) Traveler entering without RT-PCR test: the traveler who does not have an
negative RT-PCR test upon entry into the country, you will immediately proceed to
Comply with Mandatory Preventive Isolation (APO) in accommodation
times indicated in the protocol, an RT-PCR test may be performed,
at your cost in laboratories authorized by ACCESS and comply with the APO
in temporary accommodation until the delivery of the negative result. With
a negative result the traveler will end his APO and with a result
positive must continue in APO in temporary accommodation and will be provided
the necessary health care according to your clinical picture. Not
choose to perform the RT-PCR test, you must finish the APO in the
temporary accommodation for a period of 10 days.

 

These regulations are in constant review and are subject to modifications,
compliance with the behavior and progress of COVID - 19 in the country and the

So it looks like good news for me, & I may be able to pull this off in September. Fingers crossed.

I have less reservations now that I see it too.  The complexity of that design makes it difficult and unlikely to be made in anything but gold, silver, or platinum.  Complex patterns require metals with high-flow and low oxidation characteristics.

I think there's supposed to be a fairly big jump in USCIS fees, depending on particulars, that goes into effect Oct. 02, 2020.
