Another one where you expect me to just pick one???

Space: The Rocinante (The Expanse), Serenity (Firefly), the Defiant (ST), Slave 1 (SW).......

Sky: Helicarrier (Marvel), any Steampunk Airship (that Three Musketeers movie, for example)

Big Stompy: Starhawk IV (CAV) , MAC-II Monster (Robotech)
Little Stompy: Priss' Motoslave (Bubblegum Crisis)

I would have to go with the TIE Defender. Anyone who upgraded to one in the old TIE Fighter game knows how insanely maneuverable they are compared to everything else you flew before that.

The shadows  from b5

or "The Arc"  from a early series of short stories by George RR Martin.

30k long, an Ecological Seed-ship.  It was designed to terriform planets, by a Golden Age space empire.

- most ships in the universe described were no bigger than an aircraft carrier.    Okay after a quick perusal it turns out that other warships are mentioned as 1 kilo long, twice as long as aircraft carriers

TNG Enterprise.  Instant hot tea (Earl Grey, hot!) and food and a holodeck are all I need...

Yup.

Alternatively, the Nova class ships hold a special place in my heart.

Maneuverability, shields, six laser cannons, hyperdrive capability... and speed ... the epitome of oppressive Imperial engineering.

Such a good game, that one. The first real flight-combat simulation game I ever played, way back when. Actually, the only such game I've ever played, I enjoyed it so much.

Probably the USS Akron, or it’s sister ship the Macon.

These are super hard to tell apart. However…

That is Akron. 1) Wikipedia identifies that particular image as Akron (if you trust WP)   2) There are no visible rectangular air scoops in front of each engine position.

If you can find a higher resolution version of this ^ image the name should appear between the insignia and the horizontal stabilizer.

This picture is Macon:

This image shows the air scoops clearly (forward of each propeller mast). And, if zoomed on, the name "MACON" is readable just forward of the horizontal stabilizer, aft of the star-roundel on the side.
