You have some great figures there.  You do a great job on the basing.  The water effect is great.

Thank you, I used a simple trick actually.

Painted the base in a sand brown tone using three different tones, then used Warcolour Translucent Blue and watered that down even more.

That way you get the idea that there is shallow water on that sandy base.

That's a good looking fishman! I especially love the work you did on the weapon and the glowing dangling bit.

Thank you!

I used Vallejo Fluo Yellow and two Scale 75 green colours for that.

Wonderful job!

Out of curiosity, how long does a figure like that take to print out?

Thanks.

Depending on the angle you use somewhere between 2 and 4 hours.

It takes longer if you print it upright instead of laying down, but it does leave less marks from the supports.

You know I love a good fishfella, and this is absolutely fantastic! Agreed that the flesh tones really give it that uncanny-valley vibe. (Uncanny mid-oceanic trench?)

Thank you!

I always love your fishmen and deep ones, so I'm glad you approve of mine.

Since you like fishmen, have you seen his girlfriend?

The Crusaders thought they were winning, the unholy forces of the ancient Undead were almost defeated and they could taste victory.
Too late Grandmaster Joseph noticed the Priest on a large sanddune behind the Undead's ranks, he was performing some  unholy ritual for sure!
Joseph spurred his Knights on, but he was too late, the Priest uttered the final words of power and then the creature appeared.
It swooped down from the sky, it's metallic wings reflecting the sunlight and blinding his men, and then it landed amidst his Army, footmen were trampled, it's cruel blades hacked through the ranks of his Knights.
A heavy tail knocked Grandmaster Joseph from his steed.
Lying on his back he looked into the Sun, a final prayer on his lips when he saw the creature approaching, a glimps of what was once a woman's face and then all went black.

This charming little chap is by a guy called Schlossbauer on Thingiverse, and he calls it Heavy Flesh. It recalls to mind an AD&D monster of some sort, from Monster Manual II I think, but I can't quite place it.

The spearman, for scale, is as usual Sergeant Measureby with his Spear of 5mm Increments.

The Flesh was printed in eSun PLA+ at 0.08mm on my Ender 3.

Painted this one for a friend who is obsessed with the Child from the Mandalorian. It’s a 3D print that I got from a shop on Etsy.
