Their miniatures are not 32mm.  There the exact same size as Reapers.  They are heroic 28mm and as a matter of fact they have the exact same sculptures as reaper.  I don't know where you got the minis are 32mm????

32mm or 28mm I'm not buying minis that size anymore..

Good Evening everyone   I am the owner of Tomb Guardians and I was emailed by a few supporter who watches and blogs on the Reaper site.  They told me about what is going on here and I wanted

I’d say it’s 100% clear that GamerPrincess is a salesperson for the company, if not the guy that owns the company. Take a look at every post “she” has ever made on these forums - they are only to prom

The irony of it is that forumites here are perfectly happy to interact with company reps who identify themselves as such. There’s no good reason to pretend to be unaffiliated (and as others have noted

Sadly, allot of stretch goals don't get unlocked for these guys. It may be the $$$ to reach or what not but just look at the one I just posted. They only unlocked a couple stretch figures. Thou, I was mostly in that KS for the ogre as the resin copy is like half the cost of the metal one. Heck, I can't even remember what I ordered with that one. It'll be a surprise!!! lol

It's a shame because it appears this company does some really nice stuff; but not even the nicest miniatures in the world are enough if no one notices your campaigns.

They're going to have to create some real buzz if they want to get on people's radars; and exciting, achievable stretch goals seem to me to be the best way to do that. Blacklist Miniatures' very successful KS is probably the greatest recent example of a company that came out of nowhere and created ENORMOUS excitement via it's insanely fun stretch goal journey. I have no doubt that a lot of buyers added them to their "Following" lists as a result of it.

Wow!  Never heard of them but damn, 1.6M!  Im sure a lot of people are following them.  I am now.  Lol

Hopefully Tomb Guardians follows this site.   But even if they don't maybe someone tells them to lower the stretch goal amounts.  Still 11 miniatures now in resin are only $3.27.  There also made in the states not overseas, if that matters to anyone.  But they are really nice miniatures.  I have a lot of them.

I think part of the issue was how much they used to promote on social media and mailing lists.  I would put it just shy of spam, if a Kickstarter launched or got an update I would get 3-4 emails about it, then there'd be 2-3 posts in a row on every FB minis page (including other companies that usually don't promote other lines).  It was a bit nuts.

Morning Lidless Eye

I get what your saying but they are a relative new company and I'm sure they dont have the capital to spend for advertising like the larger companies and that is one of their means to get their name out there to the masses.  I agree a little too much but hey I don't care as long as they make great minis.

They just posted this:

"Good Morning everyone!
Tomb Guardians has a HUGE announcement for everyone that has pledged, followers of the Kickstarter and future pledgers! Don’t miss our announcement today at 12pm EST!
We are very excited about this and we know you will be too!"

Well this is exciting. I wonder if they read my post? ::D:

I think GamerPrincess is actually the guy who runs their company.

What helped Blacklist is the quality sculpt for the prices, yes, but also the fact that they dove-tailed this into their board game; Altar Quest. They used their KS to make the Altar Quest game more attractive and to help further drive up the dollar amounts by having the game and its expansions be add-ons during and after the campaign. It was saavy.

Lol no Adrift Im not the guy who runs their company, nor a guy!  Just excited about their minis.

That was clever of Blacklist.  Did you get in on that KS?

Indeed, as did 3 members of my dnd group when I told them; 2 want to learn to paint and will use their minis as a jumping off point.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1662635043/to-the-mummys-tomb-a-halfling-expedition/description

      Story
After the estate of one Fomo Barrowblight (who many moons ago, and with heavily laden bags, had said he was just off for a morning walk, never to return) was sold at auction, there came to light a strange scroll that appeared to be a map of the final resting place of a lost tribe of halflings.  These cousins lived down in the scorching Southlands, amidst endless dunes that had buried whole cities and civilisations.
The newly elected (and so still very enthusiastic) Halfling Town Council had organised an expedition to make contact with their fellow halflings, with the aim of swapping some stories and recipes, and who knows, perhaps even coming back with some interesting new cakes.
And, after many great perils and travails, the expedition found itself in a mysterious location known as 'The Valley of the Things'.  Here, recipes in strange hieroglyphs were marked on tomb walls,  guarded jealously by High Priests and long mummified pastry chefs.
The expedition takes time to assuage the fears of the High Priests that they are here to steal the sacred recipes and make formal diplomatic relations.  But Fomo Barrowblight and another mysterious figure seem intent on stealing the recipe to the sacred pie and have already gleaned some of the ingredients...
      To the Mummy's Tomb!
Introducing a series of  Eight Fantasy Miniatures in 28mm scale from a halfling expedition to the burial grounds of their cousins, in the desert southlands.
        Halfling Town Council Five
The latest elected Halfling Town Council, has been responsible for launching the expedition to the distant Southlands, as always, it is made up of eight different townsfolk from all walks of life.

I've already pledged for the whole set, why haven't you?

      Story
Echoes of Camelot: Arthurian Legends is a project that will expand our 75mm resin miniature range with new and exciting models based on the Matter of Britan, particularly around the figure of King Arthur and his Knights. We have many cool surprises prepared should you help us bring this dream to life.
These miniatures have been sculpted and painted here at the Big Child Creatives studio with the collaboration of some of the most talented miniature artists out there. And what is more, they will be manufactured by our own talented team of resin casting experts. This allows us to monitor the process closely to ensure the best quality in the market and a timely delivery.
We have learned a lot from our previous campaigns, and we want to put all this experience to good use, repeating everything we did right, improving upon it, and correcting our past mistakes. We invite you to join us in this journey of discovery throughout the Matter of Britain and its amazing cast of unique characters.
This campaign is a journey of discovery, full of surprises such as custom bits to make your miniatures even more striking than they already are. Some of these kits will be Kickstarter exclusive, so those of you who choose to support us will be able to proudly show it through unique miniatures, even more full of life and character than our regular releases.

Bloody Peasants! by Midlam Miniatures — Kickstarter

      Story
"Oh no!  It's an armed agrarian uprising!"
Toiling in the fields for their feudal overlords, the peasants are equally quick to turn their tools to defending their lands from monstrous invaders or, when pressed to the limit, revolting and overturning cruel and greedy landowners.
      Bloody Peasants!
A selection of human and halfling farmers in 28mm scale miniatures for all of your fantasy games.
You can choose from humans, halflings or both!
      The Humans
A familiar sight in the villages surrounding Midlam.
      The Halflings
A smaller folk, doing the same jobs as the longshanks.

      It's a Midlam project, so you know what that means;
Maybe a stretch goal, very possibly an early fulfillment, and absolutely no nonsense.
