Ok, so this one caught my attention.  Not a sculptor that has caught my attention before, but it has a very 80's action figure look to it and is hitting a lot of my nostalgia feels....

The 'man of vision' is one of the first examples I've found that a cartoon I remembered watching as a kid actually existed. It's one that has missed a lot of the nostalgia hype...

A lot of these look really off proportionally. They also look a lot like cartoon IP and I wouldn't be surprised by a C&D

Honetly, making a Robocop copy, and naming it 'Murphy'?

 

It's like they're not even trying to pretend it's their own designs....

 

Making the Cobra Commander into an Empror, though, is nice. Did they give him competent minions, also?

That's Serpentor, not CC. While the name for the mini isn't the greatest either, he is the Supreme leader of Cobra. He arrived in the GIJOE movie with Sgt Slaughter.

That movie was supposed to be the equivlant of the Transformer:the Movie back in the day. While it was allot more mature then the series, it was ok compared to T:tM. Serpentor was kinda of annoying anyways. ha ha

These pictures are triggering a lot of nostalgia for toys from my youth....unfortunately they are also triggering a feeling that lawyers are going to get involved if they see this...

 

But if they don't get a C&D letter I would love to see what people do with these models!

<nerd> Actually, that was a different GI Joe movie, specifically GI Joe: The Movie.  Serpentor actually dies (off screen and in a completely reversible way) in that one.  </nerd>

 

On topic, I'm not a fan of these.  They pull all the nostalgia strings but I just don't like the dimensions.

It's been way to long since I saw the movie, hell I didn't even know there was multiple "big" movies either.
