I still prefer Patreon over Tribes. I prefer to

download via a single zip file, rather than individually downloading each file on MMF. Interacting on posts is so much easier on Patreon too.

Downloading individual files or zip files is entirely up to the creator I believe. For example, Clay cyanide had their whole patreon available on MMF as either a $50 whole set or the models individually. Now, they just upload the single files (yes, I know they have the MAB download during the month of the patreon, BUT I am lazy so I download when I need from MMF). Totally agree about the posts!

Yeah, some creators are good with that. Others, not so much and MMF still breaks the files up into several zip files anyway when they are a single download.

I kinda like the cross promos Patreons do, haven't seen that on Tribes ( I could be wrong though!).

For now I managed to disable the Two Factor thingie, will try again later, and see what happens.

I can log in with recovery codes but it's more of a hassle.

Ah, I found the problem...

Without proper communication Patreon now uses an Authenticator App instead of texting codes.

Since I never installed that the texts won't work and I needed to use recovery codes every time.

I'm not in the mood to install apps for this.

So I might switch to Tribes, I already have a Heroes Infinite Account so that's covered.

Maybe use Patreon without it anyway, have to think about it.

Artisan Guild have goblins in February. I’m definitely a fan of these sculpts.

Trolls remind me of urRu aka Mystics from Dark Crystal. Looks like a great set.

yeah, one big vs individual is mostly the creator more than it is MMF.  Personally I like the individual because it's rare that I love every model every month, and that way I can only spend the bandwidth /local storage on the stuff I'm going to print.  Also MMF distribution means I don't HAVE to download right away Some creators who used to use dropbox or google drive or something similar for distribution would frequently take the link down after the end of the month, so the only way to keep your files was on our own storage, MMF elimanates that need.

I'm still rocking just over half a terrabyte of data on a portable hard drive that's stuff I don't think would be easy to re-download......

I mean, probably.  There's something about the one in the goblins release though that just isn't the same feel of the svartwood trolls.  like they're from the same world but are different subspecies or something, I dunno exactly.

Oh, I like that MMF means I have access to those files for longer than just the month, but I wish creators made a full release file as well as the individual files and that MMF left it as a single file, rather than multiple files once it’s beyond a certain size.

Yah, the svartwood ones resemble their inspired WoW counterparts where the goblin trolls have a old school fantasy style look.

Speaking of AG, did up a few plates of his Goldmaw lizardfolk this morning. I'm not 100% I'll use them, but figured I'd print out at least 1 of the plates & think about it. ReaperCon game, so I've got plenty of time to decide. (& no none of the plates have the lizardfolk with boobs on them...).👀
