I heard back from Epic today.  On the plus side they do respond quickly.  The response itself is below.

Which I take to mean their priority is to keep churning out new models for their patreon. Quantity over quality isn't really my thing, so Epic will be a pass on future spending.

Since I'm more into Epic for the amount of rpg minis that doesn't bother me as much, but totally understandable why. Now if it was someone like RNEStudio or even Artisan Guild, then yah definitely.

You can do less with the sculpted pupils if you're trying for a fancy paintjob, since being recessed they're going to make colour and reflection placement a real bear.  However, if you're doing say a

Just an FYI, though it is not a Patreon, this seems like the best place; Dark Sword Miniatures now has STL files for sale on their website.  So far it is the minis from the Antimatter Games mini purch

OH. OH HAHA. I do not recommend googling MMF at work if you can't remember what it stands for in a website abbreviation and forgot that hobbies other than miniatures exist!!!

I'm with you there!

The time they released a PC with a 500MB Hard Drive was magic!

WOW!

Nobody will ever store so much stuff on their PC, right?

I'm, well, auld.

I remember when things like dial-up modems and hard drives were shared between multiple computers.

And the hard drives looked just a bit like squat water coolers.... (IBM 350.)

That's clear then.

Maybe someone should tell them that there are many painters out there that DO notice it and that they might be able to get more patreons if they did fix it.

I went for Avatar of War April.

Undead and a few Dark Elves.

You get it all for less than $3/€4 ( including VAT)

And this is not all, on April 22 they will add 10 more models  and a surprise Hero.

I mean... you don't have to be THAT old.... my support team had shared modems that they still had to use for dialing direct to customer servers as recently as 5 years ago when, as best we can tell, we finally got the last dozen or so holdouts to update their servers to ones that use more modern twisted pair ethernet networking instead of rs232...

I kind of want that Moonglaive dragon, but not much else. The would seem to make the patreon be a pass, but they want $25 for their other dragon on MMF so it's not like waiting for retail is a win. Still a couple of weeks to decide I suppose.

Shared 400 Baud modem.....

On the other hand, at least it didn't need a phone cradle! ::D:

We're in the same kettle. ::):

Epic for quantity of RPG stuff, the others for quality.

But Epic sometimes surprises, I never knew I wanted crazy mephit merchants, until there they were!

I like the offerings so far this month from Epic, but once again, they are "borrowing" poses/sculpts from existing minis. This time around it's Privateer Press:

Croak Hunter

Underchief Mire

Cast N Play's loyalty reward for the past 3 months:

D20 Guardian Dragon:

The hole in the top of the rock, you can place a D20.

That's on Megan's build list...

I'd be less worried if I hadn't told her about the Zmei. (Russian multi-headed shape changing dragons.)
