Glitterwolf
For tabletop a FDM is no problem for most people. For Display and painting ( what I do) one needs the resin printer for minis. For FDM these are pretty decent prints! A little sanding perhaps and apaint job and they're good to go!

Minis on the Mini. That's the best combo. FDM for terrain and Resin for minis. I don't have a FDM one, too technical for me and no room either. But I have succesfully printed the Aztec Pyramid for the Giant Croc Mount ( totally not a Dread Saurian ) on my Elegoo Mars. I did hollow the parts of course! I'd love to get elegoo's Neptune 2 FDM printer, if they ever get around to stocking more:( Hell, I'd love a saturn too:)
Talae
I now have an Ender 3 and a CR10mini for FDM and a Phrozen SM4K for resin. Honestly, it is too many for my needs compared to space available land I should get rid of one of the FDM printers.
PaganMegan
I just ordered the Mercury. I'm telling Grump I need it for last minute schoolwork. Which, I'm afraid is true. Finished proofs for May. Feeding it with denatured alcohol. Edited March 12, 2021 by PaganMegan

TheUncannyAK
I thought it would be years before I bought a 3D printer, but my wife recently became interested in getting one, too. So we agreed to get one as an anniversary gift to ourselves. Our Mars 2 Pro came last week. These were the first minis I printed with it (all from Capritor Miniatures). Done in water washable resin.

Those look great. Can you share your settings? I have a 500 and 1000 gram bottle of washable resin (grey and blue), and I always like to try what works for people:)

If you do want to get rid of one I guess you can easily sell it on the Bay of Evil or something like that.

bojesphob
A few things I've printed lately that weren't miniature related (although I have done a number of miniatures recently LOL). First, Huehuetéotl - Tlaloc from the Templo Major in Mexico City (actually have this one painted fully): http://www.bojesphob.com/Army/printed/Huehuet%C3%A9otl.jpg This one is now cured and dry, unlike in the picture LOL A temple Lion Guardian http://www.bojesphob.com/Army/printed/LionGuardian.jpg A triceratops skull. Love this one since it's a 3D scan of an actual fossil! Gotta find me more of these! http://www.bojesphob.com/Army/printed/TriceratopsSkull2.jpg
Zink
Female ranger I found. Printed pretty nice other than some roughness where the supports were and a bit of stringing.

It's free, too, which is nice. If you look in the customer pictures, one guy at a museum even printed it off on a huge printer and have it as an exhibit! https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-triceratops-skull-in-colorado-usa-6225
