Super Administrators Reaper_Jon Posted September 28, 2020 Super Administrators Share Posted September 28, 2020 This contest starts NOW! The November date is the end but I can't make and event ending that far out from now! You can turn in your photo as soon as you finish! Model to paint for this event: Any Pathfinder Model!MetalPlastic Important dates: Starting Date: Sept. 28th, 2020 Submissions due: November 29th, 2020 Gallery posted and voting beginning December 1st, 2020 (On the reaper Facebook Fan page) Voting ends December 6th, 2020 at roughly 6:00pm ct. Prizes: 1st-4th - Choice of either Pathfinder Paint Set #1 or #2 ~You can enter as many models as you want into this contest. ~Please do not comment on your own photo until after the contest is over! ~Minor converting is allowed. ~Either the Metal versions or the Bones versions of the models are allowed. ~Please limit the amount of converting you do to your model. For instance, weapon swaps or head swaps are allowed. ~Base the model any way you choose. Please understand that an elaborate base may be mostly cropped from your image. You can make a really cool base if that’s what you enjoy, however, the contest is about painting your model not your basing skills. Minor accents will be left but large diorama bases will probably end up cropped. ~Whenever you are ready, submit the one best picture of your finished model to [email protected] with the last day being November 29th, 2020 ~This must be a single picture and cannot be a composite of several images. If you really need more than one angle consider using a mirror. ~A gallery will be posted to the group after the deadline date. After the contest ends feel free to add additional shots to the gallery. Do not post any pictures to the event (or anywhere else) until the event ends (see below). Facebook sharing: ~You can share the gallery but do not share your photo by itself. Please respect the spirit of the vote. If you tell all of your friends to vote for you instead of the entries that they like the best, then you aren't really winning, are you? If someone shares your picture along with your name as the gallery link, this is still a violation. ~With the anonymous spirit of the contest please refrain from watermarks or any other identifying marks that may give away your name or company or painting group you belong to. ~When submitting your picture feel free to send them in, in a larger size. I'll resize and crop where needed, but a larger picture ends up looking better! ~Suggestion: Make the focus of your photo the miniature itself. Cool bases are cool bases but are not your painted entry. A good closeup is better than a distant shot to show off your base. It's also best to include the entire model, so not too close. This is only a suggestion and you can do whatever you want, but remember, it may end up being cropped. ~Be sure to include your full name with your submission. ~The gallery will be posted in the main Reaper Group Facebook page on December 1st or as soon as possible (or sooner) and voting will end after 6pm December 6th, 2020. Voting: ~The voting is based on total likes for your photo during the window of voting. ~Please do not post your photos (or work in progress shots) in other forums until after this event ends. The event ends when the winners are announced. ~The Pictures with the most likes win. ~Please keep your comments positive and respectful. ~If you have any questions, please write to me at [email protected] I may or may not see your questions if they are posted in the group or event only. ~Reaper reserves the right to disqualify any entry for any reason.
