Okay, but you "asked" for it ::P::devil:

- My gaming table!

(that's currently storage for numerous things as we re-arrange the living room)

- My gaming rig, JägerWulfe, even if this setup is going to be changing soon...

(pic not available, but it's a 21.5/27/21.5" monitor setup, with a 4770K, 16GB DDR-32400, RTX 2080, and various other things)

- Various flow stuff!

- Nights without clouds, or snow falling down~!

IMG_20200501_224523.thumb.jpg.e3332c0175a6b4a4132470759f36d41b.jpg

- A local deli that's epic! (DeRose Brothers)

And, behind the spoiler....  Other things that make this fox rather happy and relaxed... ^_^  (Elite:Dangerous screenshots incoming)

First exploration ship: Cerberus (FOX-5T), a Diamondback Explorer.  66.04ly jump range.  Vibrant Orange paint job.

This little guy was my first exploration vehicle, and it saw a decent variety of things.  Photos seem static because I hadn't taught myself how to use free camera yet.  Saw about 30k light years of flight before I swapped to the Krait Phantom upon arrival at Colonia.

^I don't quite recall precisely what this was, but it was one of my first "oooh, that looks neat" ringed gas giants.  Those rings GLOW a vibrant white...

Next up is my second exploration vessel, and current one: The Kitsune's Shadow (FLUFFY).  He's got a 61.01 light year jump range if I remember correctly.  Sadly though, Faulcon Delacey took out the espresso machine that's in the Krait mk II to help with weight reduction.  There were two reasons I swapped over to the Krait Phantom, despite rather liking my Diamondback Explorer.  First is the view - you can see SO MUCH MORE out the cockpit.  The second?  Practical conveniences of life.  It goes faster in normal cruise, has 3.5x the shields so pancaking on landing doesn't hurt anywhere near as much, there's proper legroom, and most importantly, it can fit a size 6 fuel scoop which means refuelling three times faster...  33 seconds to fill from empty means no waiting around AND no overheating like the 1 minute 33 second size 4 fuel scoop can do on some stars.

Golden Pharaoh paint job if I remember correctly.  All I know is in most cases it's a nice vibrant orange, which is GREAT in my eyes!

^This was taken on the fourth leg of an expedition I wound up abandonning.  Sure, it was nice to follow along and see a variety of sights, but I quickly gained a sense of wanderlust and just wanted to wander around wherever I wanted to.  That odd circular distortion is a black hole.  At the time, I didn't quite feel like zipping around to find more of a unique view.  System is Oob Brue ZE-A g0 (aka Phoebe's Eye)

Then we have my SRV.  Haven't given it a name, partially because the game won't let you, and partially because for some reason I've never thought one up.  It's seen it's fair share of things...

^Geological sites are things I absolutely LOVE visiting - especially geysers.  First pic was an interesting time getting to, since the terrain was regularly a 50 degree downwards slope, mixed with canyons.  Took like five minutes to get to it from my ship, and ten to get back.  Second one is methane geysers, if I remember correctly.

^Visiting an abandoned mining colony called Dav's Hope.  Got tired of doing loops within the colony, so naturally I did the next thing that came to mind - JUMPED MY KRAIT mk II!   Yes, I do have video too, because, well, yeah, you can get bored at times!
20201024171335_1.thumb.jpg.37e43fbe479badbd29d89f486109fc0c.jpg
^Jameson Crash Site.  Story behind this one is kind of sobering, to say the least.

^Bonus shot of my Krait mk II "around the bubble daily driver" affectionately known as "Deadly Cupcake" (Steve), parked at a Guardian Structure (well, arguably THE Guardian Structure, since almost all other guardian sites are ruins)

I've been working the past week or so to be able to go back out "into the black" (middle of nowhere, aka exploring deeper regions of the milky way in Elite:Dangerous) and I'm looking forward to blazing my own trail and seeing what I find this time.  No idea when I'll be back to the bubble, or if I'll be going back to the bubble.

When was the last time you pulled an all-nighter? And why?

February...I think it was the last Thursday....

Son fell out a tree and gashed his leg open, spent the night at hospital whilst waiting for assessments etc.

Being with my friends and family is best, of course, but as far as someTHING that makes me happy, I’m a fellow of simple tastes:

Fresh bread and a bike ride are both pretty reliable happiness inducers.

It'll sound quite shallow, but currently a giant pile of money would make me extremely happy. Like Scrooge McDuck swimming pool style. It would eliminate a lot of stress and worries for several people in my orbit.

Other things that make me happy, in no particular order: my dogs, Chinese takeout (or practically any Asian/Southeast Asian cuisine), and 8 hours of solid sleep.

Don't worry, in about 20 years from now you might have a few hours of sleep again

I have at least ten days before it could possibly happen... all of Dixie's medicines will have been given at that point. But it's still not guaranteed, as Molly and Dixie's normal potty schedules will have been screwed up by then, so I could still end up having to get up in the middle of the night to let them out.

This was my Hatchling Space-Dragon from earlier this month (Inktober). I finished it up yesterday. (Yup. Moonlets are space-dragon eggs... :blues: ...who knew?? Those spacemen in that Saucer knew, ...that’s who.)

Hmmm.

First theyre babies, so they wake up in the middle of the night for food and attention.

Then they get a little older and have "accidents" so you'll have to change the sheets etc..

A few years later they get nightmares or think that the pile of clothes over their chair is a monster and they NEED to sleep between mom and dad ( this is also a clever ploy to prevent getting any more siblings)

Finally Teens!  Darn shouldn't he/she be home by now? And Why am I awake because the principal need to talk me tomorrow about something?

Aahhhh, young adults, no problem, right? Wait...where was she/he sleeping tonight? Going out with friends but is that guy Larry with them? I hope they don't get into trouble..oh..look...I didn't sleep for hours..well off to work.

Question for Monday, October 26th:

Today is National Pumpkin Day. Have you obtained your pumpkin for carving? Have you carved it yet?

Have you ever roasted a pumpkin? What's your favorite pumpkin (or pumpkin spiced) food/drink?

I've only carve a pumpkin once a few years ago, it's not really a custom here,

We do have a large pumpkin on the bird/squirrel feeder table for decoration though.

I slice pumpkin in cubes and fry it together with slices of apple, carrot and cubes of bacon seasoning it with several herbs and pepper.

I like dark chocolate infused with pumpkin.

We have pumpkins...I'm not sure if they are getting carved or not.  They are currently out in the yard around the tree.
I don't think we've ever roasted a pumpkin.  Squash yes.  Pumpkin seeds we've roasted.
I don't like pumpkin. So my favorite is a pumpkin cheesecake that my wife makes that doesn't taste too pumpkin-y.....

Or roasted pumpkin seeds. They are pretty tasty.

Yes, I have four pumpkins to carve.  They don't last long so I carve them close to Saturday.  It only takes a few minutes because I carve the mini pumpkins.

Never roasted a pumpkin.

Pumpkin Pie.
