You there, fill it up with petroleum distillate, and re-vulcanize my tires, post-haste!

Great conversion and I really like the freckles; that's not something you see a whole lot on painted miniatures.:winkthumbs:

Thanks, a tad fiddly, but they give the face some interest.

Seamless conversion! Freckles are great as are the eyes - definitely full of character - well done!

Thank you, yes I like how the face came out. Statuesque heads are really nice.

I pulled out my painted copy of the original sculpt and decided I like yours better.  Very nicely done!  ^_^

I wasn't too happy with her boob window and leaf loin cloth. So I started cutting and ended up redoing the entire front.

Wow, I love the eyes.

Thanks, they even worked out with the first attempt.

Love the conversion! The mushrooms on the log are a genius touch. A drybrushing of rusty orange or scab red would really make them pop. Great work sculpting her outfit change, too--I know that's tricky even though you make it look easy.

I thought of an orange glaze, just to make them stand out a tad more. I didn't want them to be too much in your face, but they do fuse a bit with the log.

Thank you, the sculpting was fiddly and I had to redo some sections . I learned quite a bit. Most important thing: ratio 2:1 yellow to blue makes it much easier to sculpt fine detail.

the face is amazing

Enjoyed the WIP thread too,  that's a pretty serious conversion

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for commenting. Usually my perception of minis changes after they are in the display case for a time. This one I still like, so I think the face was a success. The conversion was indeed more of a resculpt, but perfect to experiment.

That's a total makeover, almost a completely new model. You did an excellent work on both the conversion and the paint. I like the posture of her head, it makes it much easier to see her face this way. The original version of the model is facing down, probably because she is tracking a foe or animal, so her face is a little hard to paint. Which head did you use? I also like the mushrooms you added on the stump.
