Last 24 hours. For every 25 new backers they will double an unlocked stretch goal.. (plunder box reward)

 

so for example we are getting a set of artillery crew arms and items. So we would get 2. We are getting 4 leader heads, we would get 8, etc...

 

there is also a stretch goal for a monkey mascot with a musket.

Okay, I'm in for the RPG level... with 8 hours to go.

It’s done... the final stretch goal (cavalry) was unlocked. And all the double plunder box stuff was doubled.

Got access to the pledge survey today. It’s been open since last Monday but there was a bug and some (me included) hadn’t gotten the link, or access, but that’s now been resolved. 
 

the survey is pretty nice and straight forward. I finalized my pledge and then promptly went back in and added another box just to make sure I could. 
 

I plan on adding another box of soldiers, and maybe a native box and cavalry box before it closes for good. 
 

currently I am set for:

 

i basic game box.. that has

2 ships

2 sailor boxes

Blackbeard and Maynard

snd a loot box

 

as well as

1 more ship
2 boxes of militia

1 pirates of legend

1 soldiers box

Only thing the creator has said is “at least 3 months”... so March?

So, someone pointed out that update 13 says this “

We plan to keep this open for as long as possible until we need to confirm information for fulfillment. So, it should be open until at least June of 2021. “

so looks like it will be open until June.

Funnily enough it was our decision to back Bones V, with the amazing ship, that convinced us to back this KS, for more ships and crew!

 

We were wondering if we would add anything else in the pledge manager and this thread now has us thinking of buying a second box of the named pirates if we can use them for conversion parts. It has not crossed my mind that they might be a multi-part kit.

We hope you've had a wonderful, safe Holiday season!

 

We have some good news. All 4 (4!) parts of the Bermuda Sloop molds have been finished. Out of all items in this Kickstarter, we believe that this ship was easily the hardest to make. We've had to adjust this model several times in order to get it perfect. It took a lot of fine tuning, but its finally done! With this out of the way now, we  expect the rest of the production process to go smoothly.

 

We are still on track with our updated schedule.

My KS copy just arrived this morning. 



Sadly, there was one error in my shipment. In the final days of the campaign, most of the “box of plunder” (stretch goals) got doubled. My basic pledge was mispacked, and only received one copy. I’ve emailed them. I’m sure it will get rectified soon. 

The campaign did have lots of extra options. I now wish I’d purchased a bit more (especially a third ship), but IIRC, the pledge manager for this closed around the same time as the Bones 5 and MFC Ice Wilds PMs, and this lost the battle for my wallet. 

The ships look to be perfectly sized for D&D, and are much more realistically-sized for a low-level D&D game than the massive Sophie’s Revenge or even the Falling Star. 

 

The sprue minis are very much in scale with WizKids human minis.

Correction to this. So I was mistaken for the most part. One of the corpses is flat on one side (such that he could be floating face-down in the water), and I mistakenly took that to mean all the corpse markers would be similarly flat on one side. I then counted the barrels, coming up with only 2, and reached the conclusion that I only received half the stretch goal sprues I was owed. 
 

It turns out that the other 3 corpse markers are fully-formed. With some creative basing, and perhaps using some different heads and hands/arms than the ones intended, and you could turn those three into living pirate models. 

It turns out we were shorted the second pair of barrels. They ran out of room on the sprue (I actually think they could have fit another half barrel on the sprue, in the same section that only contains a hook hand, which would have gotten us a third barrel across two copies of the sprue). But I have several barrels from other kits, so I’m not going to hold it against them too much.

Mrs. GG and I are still waiting for our pledge to arrive. 
 

Getting more feedback from others on how they feel about their pledge would be nice to read.
