I like the color scheme you chose.

Thanks!

It's a strange creature, I wanted it to fit into my Desert Project instead of the original legend it came from.

Glad you approve!

Lovely work.  I like the stripes.

Thanks!

I found it too dull without a pattern of some sort.

That is one straaange beast! I really like how you did the snake head and the cobra/not cobra swirls on the head and stripes on the mammal body echoing the snake.

I agree, it is an odd creature to say the least.  I really do like how it turned out!

It seems to be a fantastic creature from an Arthurian legend, I decided to ignore that and go for a Stygian Monster.

I don't know if I could have resisted corgi colors on the animal side but that looks like a really fun miniature to paint.  you handled the transition very well.

Corgi would have been hilarious, I didn't think of that.

Sweet work, especially on the spirals! You were right to transplant this fellow to the desert. Some uraeic sphinx analogue no doubt.

Hello everyone, here are pictures of the biggest small dragon I ever painted. 03651 Storm Dragon Hatchling sculpted by Kevin Williams.
This is the metal version of the model, it is mounted on a 74033, 40mm round base. The final highlight on the upper part of the wings is 09294 Alien Goo and 09408 Candlelight Yellow.

Just a random collection of recently painted 3D prints.  All of these are from a slightly modified Creality Ender-3

A Longship from EC3D: The Wilds of Wintertide

The Draken Airship, from Lovecraft Designs

Oh, well!  Also from Lovecraft Designs

Well I said I would try the WIP for this project so we will see how it goes...

Earlier this year I completed the print of the Beta scout created by second dynasty.  The print was pretty ambitious and wound up using over 2kg of filament

      This was the completed print

Then came a really long wait for badgers 3d leveling solution and  prime.  It worked pretty well though I think most of the work was the leveling solution rather than the prime

I decided to use the paint scheme from the starmaster from the TTA  books

So I started with a scarlet paint from badgers airbrush paint line

But it wasn't red enough so I gave it a second coat with a ghost tint 'fresh blood

And that got me where I want to be.

Once its dry i can strip off the tape hiding the white lines and see how the edges did.  I still have a dark blue line in the back so more air brushing tomorrow then I can start painting the interior...

This is a 3D printed miniature from Rocketpig Miniatures which I printed on the Elegoo Mars.
Part of my Shifting Sands Project.
      WIP Here:

      What did you say?
You don't know the answer to my riddle?
      How unfortunate...!
