Another 3D print today, this time from Lost Kingdom Miniatures current (October 2020) Patreon release. The Canopic Sorcerer

More info, pictures and awful puns below.

Since they started, Lost Kingdom miniatures have been releasing .stl-files for three factions; The Cuetzpal Saurian Ancients, The Magmhorin Infernal Dwarves and The Undying Dynasties.

The Cuetzpal are lizardmen with a prehispanic south american look to them, the Infernal Dwarves have a distinctly snaggeltoothed chaos-starred Sumerian look to them with both big hats and curly beards, and the skeletal Undying Dynasties have an ancient Egyptian undead look to them.

What a surprise! Lizardmen, Chaos Dwarfs, and Tomb Kings; all discontinued WFB armies made in the same vein and similar stylings as GW did back in the day. Not terribly original at all, is it?

They do have one great redeeming factor though. Those .stls are quite simply ace.

This is a resin print I made on my Elegoo Mars Pro. It is printed in 3 parts, the Hand of Sand, the mummy's body and the staff hand. I put it all on a 40mm base I had lying around.

It looked less sloppily painted before I saw it magnified in the pictures. Argh.

"Meet the Hand of Dune!" a hollow rasping voice resounded.

"The Hand of Doom? Didn't I chop his head off that time....?"

"No, foolish, well-grown mortal! The Hand of DUNE!

"Close your eyes, Mary! Don't look at it!"

"It's beautiful! Aaaaugh!"

I have been slightly less of a workaholic in May than in April, so I have been able to do some quartely challenges as well as the monthlies. I am probably not going to be able to paint anything else this month, so here goes.
These were all painted for the Reaper challenge league May, and again, squeezed in between work. So, low effort speed painting is the key. which also shows that is it possible to get quite decent results in a short time as long as you accept there will be some rough bits.
      there are some pictures below

Just some more finished terrain from the Shadowfey set from Printable Scenery.

All were printed on my Ender-3 with the exception of some of the branches, the stump, and the bones, which were done in resin on my Elegoo Mars.

      Design by EPIC Miniatures.
Printed it on my Elegoo Mars.
Part of the Stygian Faction in my Desert Themed Project.
      WIP here:
The expedition had ventured far into the Desert, eager to search for new specimens they had travelled farther than expected.
But what a great journey it had been.
The wagons were filled with animals they had found, some still alive in small cages, most preserved in bottles with alcohol.
Dr.  Elisa Hartmann was thrilled, she was certain her colleagues at the University of  Mosul would be envious of her findings.
Several unknown species of scorpions, lizards and birds and even a rare tortoise.
      Suddenly Ahmed shouted : SNAKE!
Excited Dr. Hartmann ran to Ahmed, maybe it was a rare serpent?
      She hoped so!
Ahmed came running towards her, TURN BACK! He shouted.
A bit confused Elisa stood still, Ahmed ran past her.
Surely Ahmed wasn't afraid of some snake?
      And then she saw it.
It was bigger than a man and when it came closer she noticed the human torso with four arms.
Hypnotized by the image she stood there.
The University of Mosul would never receive the specimens.
Dr. Elisa Hartmann was reported missing.
