I bought an inexpensive one ($50) and just used it for the first time yesterday with Simple Green as the cleaning solution.  I thought it made a difference.  It doesn't replace any other cleaning regime, but does make it more thorough.

My only negative comment is that the cleaner itself made more noise that I expected.  Has a really loud buzz.  Fortunately it doesn't really need

I've heard mixed reviews regarding USCs for resin cleaning. For one thing if you use IPA with em, it's can be considered a fire hazard....... Also I hear it doesn't get all the nooks & crannies, epically if you have a print that you've hallowed out.

If you really want to get them thoroughly cleaned, look into the machine by Anycubic, Elegoo, ie the printer mfcs. I have Anycubic & it works great! Pricey for what it does, but there are other options. Elegoo makes a simpler one for like 40 to 50 bucks.

If you want to get an USC get a proper one, not one of those 'jewelry cleaners' as they're underpowered minotaur droppings.

A good sign is stainless steel outside and at least a 1L volume chamber (4x4x4")

I dropped the fastening clips for my fuel injectors into mine, and in 15 minutes, it stripped the paint off of them...

(I only wanted to clean them, not strip the paint... )

And yes, they are noisy. With a really annoying buzz.

Yes.  I noticed that m USC did get warm, so I can see where using a flammable cleaning solution would be a problem.

I only cleaned my model for ~2 minutes.

For the record, my post-print process is:

Remove from build plate

Quick rinse in IPA

Hot Water bath to remove supports

Quick pass w/ toothbrush

USC for 2 min

Post cure for 15 min

This may be overkill, but my last print  was the first w/ the USC and it was probably the best print I've done.

There's also the whole issue with it producing  a fine mist of said inflammable liquid, thereby greatly increasing the risk of spontaneous ignition.

I have a small, inexpensive (but correct frequency) ultrasonic cleaner and it works just fine to get off that outer layer of slime ... err ... resin.

Drop the parts into a small ziplock, add LA Absolutely Awesome, close it up, put it in the USC, add water to correct level, bzzzt for 3 minutes. I reuse the LA Awesome quite a few times and get great results.

I decided to just use Elegoo water washable resin.....removes the problem of finding space for the cleaner, and completely eliminates the odor of the other resins.

Maybe, in time, I'll start using other resins.

Let me know how it goes, I haven't had great results with the water washable resins, they don't clean up as well as they claim they should.  This was phrozen's though and I haven't bothered trying any of the others so I'm curious.

I have seen a lot of people online saying that they're prone to cracking, but nobody with firsthand experience

I've had 3 failed prints in a row.....but I suspect that is because of poor supports, more than anything else.

I find no issue with the water soluble resin. Once I fix my problems, I'll update here.

Have you levelled the printing bed?

Could be an issue.

Also when using a new type of resin, check the recommended settings for that resin.

I know @Jasper_the_2nd had troubles with a resin that was the same brand but a different colour and it failed until he adjusted his settings.
