He looks fantastic! I love the way you got that glistening look on his scales.

Thanks @KruleBear and @Kuroneko!

the glistening scales are the wax highlight medium.  Grenadier made something called Dragon scales for TSR many, many decades ago and i still have my gold but i gave up hope of finding any more.  And then i came across a set of 24 colors (the dragon scales had 6) while i was looking for Badgers 3D printing primer (I found it too) so i ordered the lot and now i get to play with them again.  They take a really light touch or they will just bury the miniature in shiny instead of creating a highlight and they can wipeout definition with one hard swipe.  Paint also doesn't like to stick to the stuff either so its hard to hide mistakes but I do love the effect when it works!

I love it, beautiful work. These old Grenadier Dragons are very cool. I also own a copy of that dragon and you did an inspiring work on it. I will now need to paint mine.

Please do!  It makes me happy to see these coming out into the light again.  They are some of my favorite sculpst

BTW:  did Les Chocolats Favoris  survive the quarantine?  It was one of my favorite reasons to visit our plant in St Romuald.

Ah! ::D: You have a sweet tooth. Don't know if their stores are still open. However, I know they sale their products in groceries. They even have an Online shop, unfortunately I don't think they ship to the US.

Yea, I do.  their shell chocolate is pretty fun to eat and fun to play with at home (I brought some dark chocolate coating to play with at home the last time I was up there)

What a wonderful job on this great sculpt - I love this dragon and this paintjob is a perfect, classic take - wonderful inkyness with shading!

Thank you!  I love these sculpts and the waxes allow for a lot of the darker colors to shine (in this case, literally! ::D:)  The strangest part is that the dragon is painted in black but the shadows are done with purple shadow which somehow is darker than the black paint!

Short Kickstarter from Bad Squiddo games for female Soviet troopers for WWII gaming.  Thiis expands their existing range and adds troops clad for winter.

      Story
Hello! This is a Kickstarter to increase our existing WW2 Soviets range. Already massively popular since the first wave launch of 2016, we decided it needs reinforcements! The miniatures are sculpted and master cast, so this project is to cover the funds of production moulds and the initial casts.

BORING BUT IMPORTANT TECHNICALS - The miniatures are 28mm scale and cast in extremely high quality white metal. Everything is single piece where possible. They come without bases supplied but with moulded on small puddle  bases (easy to chop off if you wish to). And of course -   they are compatible with the similar male miniatures from other manufacturers. They are supplied unpainted - so you can either paint them yourself or simply bring out the detail with an ink wash.

Shipping is charged in addition to your pledge, AFTER THE CAMPAIGN, scroll to the bottom for more information. Please don't add the shipping cost during the campaign. EU Customers be aware of additional import fees, more on that later too.

Another little piece that I am happy to finally have completed.  I love these monsters and they are often in my dungeons but rarely seen and never sought after.  Hunting these is like hunting the garbage collector, you only do it when you think you threw out something valuable.  But there have been a couple of points where I wished I had a miniature for it and now that's resolved.  Hope you like him... I named him Fred

Hello everyone, here is my spirit of the forest 02690, Owlbear. It was sculpted by Jason Wiebe. I placed it on a 50mm base and painted it with Reaper MSP paint.
I already had painted this model 10 years ago, you can see the other version here.

I painted up the Annoyed Rocky as Spyro the Dragon because when I got it that is what it screamed at me to do. I even took some time to do a little basing.

Just one more for now.  I recently received a kickstarter which had decal pages for books and scrips.  They were primarily for warhammer but the author made some changes during the kickstarter to make them more system neutral.  I got them and then went looking for a mini to try them on.  I found Lor Gorna first and this was the result.  I liked the mini and i also liked the color i got on his robes and cloak!

And of course his purpose, the book, came out pretty well too!
