Question November 16th.

If you have to do something you really don't like, do you prefer to postpone till you have to, or do it right away?

I prefer to do it right away, but I tend to postpone it.

Question November 17th.

You won several millions in the lottery, enough to last you a lifetime.

How will you live your life from now on/what will you do with the money?

Get a nice house, make sure my parents and brother are set up comfortably. Other than that, I'd spend my time writing and doing creative things in the arts.

Question November 18th.

What three non-electric or non-automatic items would you take with you to a deserted island?

A furnished house. You know what? It's magic too, it walks around on two giant human legs, contains a self replenishing supply of great food and sings well.

A rightful punishment for being cheeky with the first one.

A friend.

WEEKEND CHALLENGE. November 20th / 22th.

In these troubled times it's important to have FUN!

So, do something for fun or treat yourself to something nice.

I had coffee and spent some time at tuition! Pretty productive, which usually helps me feel relaxed.

Hmmm, do you have a distant aunt called Baba Yaga perhaps?

I guess so far this weekend I've been fulfilling your request. Friday the kids didn't have school so we went to the city. #1 son grew about 5 inches over the summer and needed new winter clothes. I'm a bit under 6' 3" (190 cm) and he's taller than me now. Not used to being around someone taller than me. :upside: Because of my mother in law being sick we skipped doing anything special for the kids birthdays a month ago. Both son's birthdays are only 2 days apart. We had some time so the wife said let's try out the new Skypark because she wanted to try ziplining.

Nobody was too excited about it but we thought why not. We took turns watching the 3 year old in the little kid's section where she could bounce on a trampoline and crawl and slide. First me and the boys did wall climbing. Learned that our fingers and arms were too weak to do it properly but I made it to the top on all the easy ones. The zipline entailed wearing a climbing harness and walking an obstacle course hanging from the ceiling on cables. A bit tricky but we enjoyed it. Me and the oldest did everything except a couple of the hardest spots. The wife as is usual for her decided to cut straight to the zipline which meant she didn't do most of the easy stuff to get the hang of things.

When she got off she was going on about how scary it was and how she didn't want to do it again. I asked her how she could stand on the edge of a crumbling cliff, 2,000 feet high, holding on to our 3 year old daughter with one hand while taking photos with the other and not be scared but was scared being 20 feet off the ground in a safety harness? Seriously she called me a wimp in August because I'm nervous on the tops of mountains and get slight vertigo. I didn't like being on the edges with no railing. Give me a rail or safety device and I'm fine. She said for some reason she couldn't trust the equipment and was in a near panic. I said we'll go back the next time we have a chance so we can work on her fears. Payback is sweet.

At the same place we did some gocart racing and mini golf. Kind of expensive but a lot of fun. Also found some cheap pla filament while in the city. Yesterday everybody was grumbling about sore muscles except me. The wife asked why I wasn't sore. I said I was but that's kind of like a normal days work for me as far as level of activity. Just worked some different muscles.

Yesterday I was in the house all day and I painted for more hours than I have in almost a year, printed parts of a building and finished watching The Liberator. Good show if you're interested in WW2 at all. Animation style is different but we really enjoyed the story. Today I need to work for a few hours after lunch but I'm continuing with the 3D printing and painting this morning.

I did a lot of rock climbing in college, it had an indoor climbing center. Loved it so much I had all the certifications to belay (hold the safety rope) and teach it. The misconception with climbing is that it's all in the arms (I blame Stallone in Cliffhanger for that). Grip and arm strength is very important, but rather than pulling yourself up it's more pushing your weight with your legs in most areas.

I made the same mistake when I started, my friend and teacher had to point it out to me, and then I noticed it in most of the guys who were beginners. An observation: most women I watched and taught instinctively used their legs more than their arms. They also gave me more sass when I'd shout encouragement to keep going when they stalled so close to the top...

OK. I did do …A THING.

I went for a drive, to spy out the land. During the whole entire drive, the sky was overcast and the color of LEAD (Pb).

Ten minutes after I returned to my hidden lair base, the sky changed  ^ to that.

Spoil myself eh? Well I do like cookies a lot. So how about...

Cookie dough pretzel sandwiches dipped in chocolate?

Or maybe you like ginger snaps?

My wife really likes peanut butter cookies.

If you don't like too much sugary sweetness there's always wedding cookies.

Or truffles. Just 2 ingredients. Though we are going to drizzle some chocolate over these eventually.

Ancient dessert architects knew the secrets of building chocolate chip cookie pyramids. I tried, but mine is more of a cookie mound.

Maybe some classic sugar cookies. These still need iced.

And there's always chocolate covered coconut macaroons.

I don't know. Maybe that was a little too much spoiling myself. Guess I'll have to break all these up into boxes and deliver them to nearby friends next weekend. Maybe we'll make some candies, chocolate bars, and meringue kisses to go with them.

Yeah, we had already planned to bake this weekend, but seemed like a good opportunity to answer this question/challenge. Cheers all. Hope good cookies are in your future.

Question November 23nd..

Would you rather have skin that changes color based on your emotions or tattoos appear all over your body depicting what you did yesterday?

The colourful skin thing.

No one wants to be covered in incredibly uninteresting tattoos.

That would be the most boring “Ink” ever; ...if I went with the Ink.

I would go with the color changing skin; re, it would give Folk a chance to clear the area prior to an explosion.
