Welcome back! I'm glad things are starting to look up.
There is a ton of stuff to catch up on everywhere, also look forward to seeing what you work on.

My girlfriend has these problems that doctors can't seem to solve or figure out exactly, so i understand where you're coming from with the miss-diagnosis thing. It boggles me sometimes when she comes back from the doctor and I'm like is there anything new, or another idea?

Glad to see you back, and happy that you've made progress healthwise. I know the frustration. Maybe I should move to Texas and have your doctor look at my hands. And possibly my low back, depending on how your next phase goes (keeping fingers crossed for you).

Take it easy and listen to the doctor! And dare I suggest, you could strengthen your hands by opening some discount Halloween candy if you have/can find any... :poke:

Glad you're back and getting better!  So good to hear something positive.  I hope you get most of your strength back in the arm and that your other issues fade now that they have an actual working solution.

I have never had the problems of a mis-diagnosis but I have spent a lot of time in limbo with something they cant pin down (especially fun when the choices are benign abnormality and deadly).  Wish you the best of luck in your recovery!

I'm glad you're back!

you should pay lots of attention to the exercises.  In my exp.  building muscle strength using targeted physical therapy is the most important part of recovery.

I had a weak ankle from a childhood injury, and would reinjure every few years.  It took a few months of very regular strengthing exercises as an adult, and it has rarely bothered me since.

The Fam and are doing fine - except for mini-spawn we have become virtual hermits.  so Halloween was rough.  the coming holidays don't look any better.  but this too shall pass.
