Which I'm part of that (as is my wife & technically my daughter is as well).

NebulousMissy
I have lost enough weight this year that I fell from group 2 to group Last and that's fine. Then Philadelphia released their own vaccine rankings and I went from group Last to group LOL Last. Given what's in the Philadelphia rankings I am 100% okay with being shunted from Last to LOL Last.
Cyradis
Considering my health, ability to work from home, age, and no kids - I'm definitely last on the list, and that's okay. A bit sad since I'd like to go do stuff, but that's okay - others need it more. And if there is a research trial in the area needing "fresh" bodies before my spot is up, then science is calling instead.

WhiteWulfe
I probably fall in rounds 2-3 of the gameplan, as while I am classified as an essential worker due to being a delivery driver in the food industry, I'm currently temporarily laid off. Or, in other words, if work calls and says "hey, we've a letter for you, set up a time to get immunized with these people" I'm doing it. I strongly suspect that work is going to strongly recommend the vaccine to all workers because of various reasons, but especially because on paper we can wind up seeing a number of people during the course of one day.
Cyradis
Keeping you safe keeps us all safe. Keeping me safe keeps.... me safe, as long as I keep hermitting. So I hope you guys get a place in line as soon as is manageable. :) Also what the heck? None of my friends in healthcare work who have been vaccinated have gotten a lollipop or a sticker. Minor tragedy.
Werkrobotwerk
My sister got the vaccine this morning, which is good since she works in a hospital with covid patients. Currently I expect to get it sometime between march and summer based on my job.

Cranky Dog
Canada just approved the Moderna vaccine, and they'll start rolling it out by next month. According to the news, since this version doesn't require cold storage as intense as Pfizer, it will likely get distributed to more remote and rural areas. Personaly, I have no idea when I'll be getting the vaccine. I'm not a health worker, nor an essential worker, so I'm not on that list. However, I am a heart patient. I'm a healthy one, but still technically classified as more vulnerable. Though in the large scheme of things, it probably just means a difference of only a couple of weeks. As it is, I don't even know if there is any list at all.
Jasper_the_2nd
Well, unfortunately as expected, people here didn't do as they should have over the holidays. Over 50 new cases in the last 3 days, including a record 27 new cases today. And the whole province is going back to an orange status. And of course just days before the flgs was set to go back to allowing in store games. That's back to on hold indefinitely now. But with cases like one person in today's news, who was showing symptoms but still went to work, potentially exposing 150, and multiple reports of people lying about self isolating, things aren't going to get better. On the F1 front it is pretty much confirmed that Australia will be postponed. And as Quebec is just finally starting a lock down this week, things continue to look worse for the Montreal GP.

Sounds about the same as here. One reason why they just said "Elf it, in store gaming is on hold indefinitely till further notice." They are trying to do Leagues for all the games. More or less at home gaming but the under the store banner. The RPG/D&D one sounds interesting. I may do it but I'm not sure if I wanna run 2 games at home per week, We shall see. As far COVID crap, eh still the same. Some businesses in town are defineing the gov'na orders & are staying open. Resturants in town are opting to do outdoor dining, if they can. The city is offering event tents & the space heaters that look like Chinese hats on poles. I wish them all the best. As far as case counts, hmmmm let see what the Oregonian says: As of Jan 4th '21
Kuroneko
We're back in full, everything shut apart from supermarkets lockdown. Even the schools are closed and we've got a strict stay-at-home order. We're allowed to go out for food shopping, limited exercise and caring for vulnerable people. The new, more easily transferable variant now accounts for half of cases and 2% of the population has the virus in total. That's about 1million people I've been furloughed and I'm really quite relieved and thankful. I'd much rather be on 80% pay, stay home and not be exposed to this awful disease(and more importantly, potentially pass it along to other people) than be at work wearing PPE and sanitising everything so much that my hands develop blisters. If I can help the situation by staying in, watching movies, baking and painting minis, then I think that's a pretty good deal. Much better than the poor essential workers that don't have this option. 8
WhiteWulfe
Yeah, I have to agree it's kind of a relief to be temporarily laid off during this... I'm also rather glad I held my ground and firmly told my parents that nope, I'm not coming to visit, because yeaaaah. There were some pretty brutal stats about the holidays.. There is some hope in the data that I really hope holds out, because it would be nice if those couple of days where we're seeing cases go down remains that way as testing ramps back up... It's also rather nice to be here at home, and doing model work and painting and such! It's been quite some time since I've been this relaxed, and well rested!
