This was kind of fun and easy to paint until it came to the base which was factory attached. Painting between every leg was a tedious nightmare.

The black-lining to make it look 2d got tiresome as evidenced by a few sloppier lines. But overall was a fun challenge.

Finished and based him!
@DragonWyrm great, great call on using the matte medium on the translucent to get acrylic to adhere and still keep its transparency! I can't believe it worked as well as it did. You're a genius.
Ended up using the matte medium, then green ink, then leveled up with yellow dry brush, then did a white touch up to show motion. Came out great!

Here is a figure I painted up as a character in what my group calls "the B team adventure" - which revolves around the supporting cast for a more standard party. She is the cook/maid. I like the townsfolk from the WIzkids set a lot better than the other humanoids I have painted from them, like the elves. They have a lot of character which makes up for the sometimes shallow detail. I'm proud of this one because she basically had no face and I painted one on with fair success I think.
