Chris Palmer
Now that many of the boxes have competed their circuit, is it to soon to start talking Round 11? At this point, I assume some time after Bones 5 is delivered... so late Spring/early Summer?
[email protected]
Is there usually a long break between the rounds? This was my first go, so just curious. I had a blast.

I had a blast. There’s usually at least a couple months between rounds. It helps to give folks time to accumulate new trading material. Also, the timing will often be adjusted for various events; like waiting for one of the Bones KS to be delivered so folks can cull what they got for trade material, or waiting until after Reapercon when lots of folks will be otherwise busy, etc. We also try to schedule around holidays, so we usually won’t start a round right before the Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years time when people are busy with a lot of other things .

I had no problem whatsoever removing things I had originally added that weren't sparking anyone's interest (some even after three full circuits). Other people's additions that were languishing however was another story entirely. It felt weird removing their additions even though they had been ignored for multiple circuits. In the end I removed quite a bit that didn't seem to be moving and I set it all aside. I think I'll return it to the box after a few circuits and see if it fares any better. I guess I'm really just wondering, what do all you other box starters do with the items that are not moving but are taking up too much space? That is a perfectly acceptable solution, as is what Inarah describes doing. 5 hours ago, Chris Palmer said: Now that many of the boxes have competed their circuit, is it to soon to start talking Round 11? Yeah, that sounds like a good guesstimate. 4 hours ago, [email protected] said: Is there usually a long break between the rounds? This was my first go, so just curious. I had a blast. Glad to hear it! Yes, there is a variable amount of time between rounds; anywhere from 3-8 months, mostly depending on what is going on in my life since I'm the organizer. We've been averaging 2/year, and I think that's a pretty reasonable number that I'd like to continue shooting for. It's enough time to recover from the last one, and let anticipation start to grow for the next one. ETA: all that stuff that @Chris Palmer said, too. I'm always open to ideas/suggestions, though. Inarah
After B5 delivers, but before Reapercon would be good. Or just after Reapercon but before Halloween would be good timing as far as refreshing the boxes goes.
Lidless Eye
I think at this point, even with the (minor-ish) delays announced, waiting until after Bones V arrives would be good. Hopefully Blacklist Fantasy Series 1 will arrive before then too, at this point the USA shipments are in limbo and I figured all the clones would be good to feed into the box.
NecroMancer
So the Rob Dean box has arrived at it's new home. I made my picks but I will have to figure what to pack up later. First i chose the SUPER spooky chibis Then these two guys with swords and knives. I'm not sure where they are from Then I grabbed a sprue with a couple weapons and shields and some bases. I also got a Dark Sword fallen angel. I'm not the biggest fan of metal but have always wanted to try a Dark Sword model and I love the subject matter. Oh and I also took a small handful of paint mixers.

Lidless Eye
Wow, I put those Mage Knight and Heroscape guys related on Litko wooden bases in so many rounds ago!

GF The penguins, the Bones knight, and the Wotc Orc Druid were all stuff I put in this round... Which means, if I remember correctly what I put in, that out of everything I added this round I'm pretty sure there's only one figure still left in the box to go on to the next round. Or did somebody else take the other knight? I can't remember.

Inarah
I sent this little guy out with the Inarah Box, wearing a wash of brown liner. I painted the face to start: Very nice job, whoever did the chickens. I'll see if there's any parts left unpainted, and if so, let him continue the rounds.
Loim
I keep missing the threads for these. I'll try to catch the next one. I have plenty of stuff that might be just what someone else is looking for.
buckyball
Would anyone be interested in doing a themed swap box? We usually put random stuff in the boxes of goodwill, but what if we did a box to circulate a specific type of miniature? The one I think might work for this group would be a pirate or Brinewind box. The last bones kickstarter had Dreadmere figures, and Bones 5 will have Brinewind figures. And I imagine several people are receiving a boat with Bones 5. Do you guys think this could work. Would it help people swap figures they dont need for ones they do? Or would everyone want to unload the same 4 figures and hope to snatch up a different 4 figures? buckyball
