You did a SPLENDID piece of work on some OH-SO-COOL miniatures. Providing them with a LOVELY base adds to their charm. VERY WELL DONE!

Thank you Al!

I figured they should be based as a team and I hoped the Torii gate and lanterns would add to the Ninja/Tengu theme.

Glad you like it!

I like them a lot, and that torii gate is excellent scene-setting!

Thank you!

The moment I printed these I knew I wanted the  spellcaster on top of a roof or something.

Then I remembered I still had this scenery.

Glad you like it, I wanted them come off as a team that works together.

Clearing out some old photos from a Beastfolk shoot. Do birds count as Beasts? It depends if you mean Animals, or Mammals; the connotations vary.
But what doesn't vary is that these little crowfellas are hella rad!

Look at those beady eyes, corvid beaks, samurai armor! I tried to give the rogue's feathers a blue-green shimmer and the fighter a purple sheen using drybrushed metallics. They're very detailed sculpts but still painter-friendly.

A bit shorter than the average Reaper human but a bit taller than the average Reaper dwarf; seen here with O-Sayumi (60191).

Hope you enjoy; I sure did!

I did this for my friend's xmas gift this year.  He's a big 80's kid, too.

      Battle report!

The challenge here was trying to make them all individual more than just their head bands.  I wanted to differ their greens a little between them. I also wanted them to look sewer-ridden and dirty, but still hold contrast.  Came out pretty nice.

      Highs:
*Donatello was easily my favorite that came out of this batch.  His purple was a great mix and stood out.
*Leo had a fun blue that was brighter than expected and gave me the idea to put their respective colors in more areas on them.
      *eyes were simple and effective.
*use of washes and lining came out good.
      * muscles all have strong definition (no pun)

      Lows:
*bandages look grungy as intended, but did get a little too bright in the edges.
*absolute fail in trying to base with green on airbrush.  I may need to resign myself to simply saying i suck with an airbrush.
*shell colors needed a little more, but i couldn't figure out what's going wrong.
*i wanted to push the greens. But needed more something to push the values.  Yellow? White?  What do you raise green with?

There are many strange and wonderful creatures in the Desert.
Rumours are a Phoenix exists there, some people even tell wild tales of a small tribe of hybrid offspring, half Phoenix, half Man.
Such tales are best discarded as the fairy tales they clearly are.
