Question for January 6th:

Have you ever been to a school reunion? Is it awkward seeing all the people you graduated with again? If you are from outside the US, do they do these reunions or anything similar in your country?

ha ha ha NO.

With maybe a half dozen exceptions for high school and a dozen for college most of the people I graduated I never want to see again. For many of the people from high school the nicest they'd ever get from me is pretending we've never met.

If you have the misfortune to end up at my house right now, you can cook for yourself. And while you’re at it, clean up the kitchen and take out the trash.

Swears.

Does getting married count?

Question for January 3rd:

One final query about last year, then we're putting that behind us! What's one mini/bust/box-set from your stash that you wish you had painted last year, but didn't get around to doing? Pics are welcome, but not mandatory.

Question for January 4th:

[…snip…] What is your go-to baked treat/good when it gets cold?

I don't really have such a thing. I don't bake. I buy things someone else baked. I do try to have Pumpkin Pie annually in the fall. Those are baked I think?

Question for January 5th:

Some of the best comedy incorporates real-life happenings. If you did stand-up comedy, how well would your spouse or significant other (either past or current) take jokes that are about them? Or family members?

I would never be able obtain a gig doing stand-up comedy,

I am that unamusing,

No spouse = no idea,

No SO = no idea,

Family members would probably disown me.

I think it would be.

Based on four encounters with persons I went to HS with, that happened "in the wild", evidence indicates: awkward.

Really have no desire to see people I didn't know back then and talk about stuff we didn't do.

That's right where I'm at. No idea and I'd like to keep it that way.

The only reunion I care about is ReaperCon!

:B): that's ^ the  spirit..!

Class of 2015! :D I think my first ReaperCon was 2016 though.

I would swear in a court-of-law that I saw you at a Reaper event years earlier than that.

Was 2016 the first year at the hotel but we had to shuttle to that convention store thing? If so, then I remember Morihalda during that year cause I texted her "ewwww" when she said she was coming downstairs.  XD

I'm horrible with naming stuff, so it would just be wizard's academy or school of magic. Yar...

As a certified epic level wild mage, I can tell you that magic schools are, in fact, not the flumph's pajamas as everyone thinks they are and will get you only so far. Several millenia ago in my youth, I attend a magic academy and I found it to be..........well, boring. It was very basic, staid, and didn't encourage innovation or deviation from an inflexible curriculum. Needless to say, wild magic was not on the approved courses. So I left and found that the world --and later, the multiverse-- provided me with experiences and wonders that I would never have encountered otherwise, and I also got to meet lots of new people. And some of them even didn't want to kill me!

The rules: as they were last month (in addition to all regular forum rules) except where I sneakily changed them:

      1. Every day, or so (unless I am out or ill or something) I will post a question. †
1.5. Should I be unable to post a question for the day, a crack team of deputy quisitors, former quisitors, and random forum members are all chomping at the bit to step in and post one... ††
      2. In theory there is a 24 hour span to answer that question before the next question is posted.
2.5. (Rule 2 is the most frequently ignored rule.)
      3. Questions are going to be posted sometime before 1 AM Reaper time (US Central).
      4. Everyone is encouraged to suggest future questions to be posted via PM to Talespinner or Morihalda…
      5. You do not have to answer every question to play...
      6. If a question is TMI or N/A simply wait for the next question.. ..or post that you decline to answer (clues regarding why can be fun...unless TMI).
      7. Weekend questions may take the form of two or three day quests, starting on Friday or Saturday.
      8. Pix always welcome.

The first question will need to be posted after a brief (10 minute) pause to foil the merging of posts.
The footnotes, because I can't resist doing †††footnotes:

      † I will aim for 0600 Reaper/Nottingham time.
††  If subs and backstops could wait until 11AM in Reaper/Denton's timezone to see if I remember.
      ††† …because I re-remembered how to do the dagger ( † ) symbol.
