77125, Vermin Scorpions

Hello! here are pictures of two 77125, Vermin Scorpions I painted Yesterday. These Bones models were sculpted by Kevin Williams. They are mounted on 74039 one inch square base.

Good edge highlights!

Very nice!  I know it can be tough to control the size and value of the highlights when you're trying to make something look glossy but with a dark base color.

How did you choose to paint these two in the first place, and in these colors?

I painted them for a D&D encounter. As with the bunch of mummies, lich and other NPC I painted last year, I picked models I already had for a while and painted them for a thematic D&D campaign. I was going to paint them both with a bluish reflex, but decided to paint the second one with a reddish reflex so they would be easier to distinguish from one another.
