Life kinda got in the way this last weekend so I'm getting a move on the basilisk tonight. Probably won't get much done beyond blocking in colors, but I'll take what I can get. I also have some RCL minis I need to churn out, so hopefully I can get a big painting weekend in this week. 

 

In other news, this 5.5 pledge manager thing is not good for my wallet.

Sadly, I have to travel for work this week.  No painting this weekend for me.  I do hope y'all get your stag, Reaper, bookkeeper, and basilisks all done.  Can't wait to play catch up for whatever gets picked next.  If i don't see a pick, I'll make one for the team by Sunday.

Got the stag all finished, and making some progress on the reaper.

@Ambrousisnot that I'm very good with my shots, but I've tried limiting flash and keeping lighting consistent.  Try shooting those without flash.  I'd love to see it when it's not over exposed.

Got this done this morning, forgot to post it. Had a lot of fun with this one. The freehand spots were a challenge, but a couple careful thin glazes of bright turquoise blended it well I thought.

 

Colors used:

Creamy Ivory

Sepia liner(mixed with brush-on sealer to make a wash)

Bright Turquoise

Nuln Oil

Basilisk Green (+ Pure White for highlight)

Lotus Orange

Pure Black

@crowsandbonesdig it! The dark upper with light underbelly looks good.  good.work on the spotting.  I tried going for the dame thing, but not sure mine turned out as well.

good job @crowsandbones, as requested here are some hopefully better pics. As mentioned before, the reaper isn't done yet.

Hey everyone, looks like there wasn't a post for the next picks.  I promised to make that pick if i didn't see someone choice, so here we go.

1061 and 1075

 

Since we're doing two week stretches, these will be up for completion on sept 5th.

I thought 1075 was an unseen servant from the spell effects, either way. I know how I'm painting it when I get to it.
