I've been doing a lot more brush prime on lower detail models.  The GW stuff is pretty high detail and some resin prints, but most of my reapers can handle brush on.  Saves a LOT of time and cleanup with that stupid airbrush.  I love what it can do, but i hate cleanup and changing of colors.

I also am not doing as much zenithal priming because it's not giving much value as i layer.  I am getting a lot from drybrushing to pull detail out and ridges.

I really use zenithal as a rough guide.  I layer paint so my first coat is usually to dark to really take advantage of zenithal prime.  If I was painting more with contrast paints or glazes I think it would be more useful.   Right now it’s more of a road map of where to put high lights later.
