paint club Book Club, but for minis - Reaper Club?

I haven’t been painting as much as I would like because my work is now 17 people short and I have been putting in extra hours.  The last few days I have had a terrible back ache which has made holding a model all but impossible.  I plan on getting back into the swing of things but it may be a little while.

Here's a few of the things I will be working on this week.  The 4 on the right side already have paint on them since this photo was taken. 

 

 

Since I got Stargrave and Quarantine 37 for christmas I'm going to be moving on to more sci-fi and terrain in January.

Helloooo friends! I hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday season and is all set to sail into a joyous new year ❤️

 

I once again have functional eyesight (yay), a mostly reasonable workload (more yay), and a plan to reconfigure my workspace (again). All to say, this coming weekend, I'll be back in action. I have so much to catch up on in this thread, and I need to review my in progress Bones 5 queue to see what I need to finish first. But I'm hyped, woohoo. It'll be good to be painting again.

@billeecatshooray!  Welcome back!  Glad to hear your eyesight is back.  I hate thinking of someone in our hobby not being able to see the work they enjoy so much.

I had fun painting squigs years ago. They're fun in-game too. Once crushed a cavalry charge with surprise squigs....

 

Raccoon looks great! Nice color choices, good job with the fur.

Thanks for the kind words. She is the ghoul queen. 77175.    You might not recognize the metal version, https://www.reapermini.com/search/necromancer+metal/latest/03126   The Bones version unfortunately was not very well cast and had a lot of flash to clean off.  There's mold lines down every one of those bones and her horns. Like a lot of the early plastic models a lot of the detail got lost, but I did what I could.
