Wizard looks pretty cool.

Haven't touched a brush in weeks. Been taking care of a sick cat.  I got a few things washed yesterday and hope to get them primed tomorrow.

@Inarahwe've got a cat that's in her twilight phase. I hope yours is just a getting better thing for the cat.  I'm sorry to hear that.  I know it's rough.

I've been putting more time into painting since the leaps forward in progress have felt pretty solid lately.

Nice highlighting. Is that a GW model?

This new cat I've had about 2 months.  My previous cat of 15 yrs died last summer. I was hoping for a fresh start with this one, she is a sweet girl.   I found out last week she has a pancreatic disease, and it has been a struggle this week to take care of her and give her medicine.  She deserves the best care but I am worn out.   I hope your senior kitty is enjoying lots of love.

Again, it sucks having a sick pet.  I feel for ya.  I hope your furry pal gets better. As for mine, she's warm, comfy, and usually has a lap to sit on.

For the model above, it's a Cairn wraith from Age of Sigmar.  Got it in a box set and I have a few of these dudes.  I just plug away at different types of models when I can.  This was a fun test on blending the base up from white and doing the highlights on the capes.

this didn't come together like I had hoped.  I think the highlights got pushed too far and it muttled the whole thing. Open to some feedback here.

The uniform details and colors on the body look great, but it looks like you haven't finished the BFG. It's a big black chunk of plain surface in comparison to the rest of it.

I've seen some painted to look like heated steel, with subtly shaded colors.

Today I got to paint a little basecoat. Just slapped on some grey and walnut brown so I can get to the interesting parts later.  Also while looking up something else I came upon this guy:

I love this color scheme, but wish I could find a bigger version of it to study.
