@Inarahone been busy? You post and there's like 10 things each time. I just do singles here and there on the weekends.

Finished the vampire hunter from the set.  Maybe next month I'll paint another figure. 

 

 

A little over-exposed, because the other option was too dark. Sorry the hat shades her face.  I went with a blue highlight to the black, so it wouldn't just be one mass of black with no details. 

 

Started on a large mushroom dude thinking it would be a quick figure to paint, but it turned into a PITA to assemble because nothing fit.  So no pics yet.

I also have good news on my vampire hunter.  It won this months contest!

Made more progress on the terrain project.  Down to the last half dozen walls, and I started prepping the small bits.  The Orrery/Astrolabe also got paint and is fully assembled now.  Only some touch-ups and basing left on that.

this was from the Vaporwave painting class.  It was the first real experience I had with contrast style paints

I also thin the ghouls look good. I saw you are hunting down the msp equivalent paints for them.

I think I have found most of the equivalents at this point.  I got creature caster to sell me the one paint that reaper doesn’t have anything close to.   They usually only set in sets but didn’t want to have to repack all the loose bottles so I got a few paints from them.

Vapor wave is like 1980s vhs box colors.  Bright neon colors.  The photo is somewhat washed out due to over exposure all I had was a hotel desk lamp for lighting.

I took that same class earlier this year. The guy is local-ish to me.  I wrote down the paint colors and made swatches in my class notebook. If I can find it, I'll post them.  (I need to find it anyway, for Reapercon).

Both of the classes I took this year were excellent and both finished a little early, which is rare.
